I had a 48-hour Bravo monitor placed which was supposed to leave my body after four days. Unfortunately, mine has been in me for 11 days now with no sign of leaving. They took an x-ray a few days ago and it's still hooked to my esophagus. When will this thing leave, I do not want to be put under again and have another endoscopy to remove it. No one ever motioned the pain and that this could happen, if so I never would have agreed to this procedure!
Question: It's been six months since you posted. Did the capsule eventually leave your esophagus? If so, how long did it take? Btw, I do hope everything went well.
