- In this video, we take a close look at the remarkable Wisycom PHA-60 boom pole adapter for the equally remarkable MTP-60 wireless body-pack transmitter and how the combination makes the perfect wireless boom pole combination.

As for the weight? PHA60+MT60+cables vs plug on? Who is the lightest?
Thanks for the video! Will you be getting the 61's too?
Yes, we are awaiting delivery of eight 61's and two of the charging docks. Can't wait to test it out and get it into our rental inventory.
@@Wisycom-Rentals-Canada Looking forward to this too. I was surprised to see a fellow Canadian running this kind of wisy business. May be reaching out for the 61s when they arrive. Thanks
Did the bluetooth issue get sorted? And does anyone have any opinions on the A10/20 vs MTP60 for boom pole use?
I own the A10’s as they’re by far the best boom transmitter I’ve ever used. I recommend them over anything
wow I didn't even hear a noise floor change....
Isn't it convenient to use MTB40S than this? Unless I suppose you need a better range in a mixer and boom op situation. As a one-man band do you think MTB40S is better or this?
The MTB is a popular choice for boom pole use, but there are a few reasons I think the MTP60/PHA60 is a better choice. The antenna design as noted is the main reason, second is the MTP60's ability to record. Here in Canada as well as in many other countries, this enables a backup boom recording in addition to transmission. Lastly is battery life. The MTB chews through batteries when PH48 is enabled. The MTP60 with a lithium pack gets about double the battery life in our testing.
@@Wisycom-Rentals-CanadaI bought the MTB and you're right it does chew through the battery, however in my workflow I find it easier to put in and out the boom pole. Thank you for your reply!
