I saw Wency (at first I didnt even know who he is) in Agribusiness, and now I saw this content from AA, I was interested to know what he does and with this interview, I must admit that I like him, he is not mayabang, a down-to-earth person. Nakakatuwa yung sinabi nya about his message sa nanay niya, Wency is so humble and intelligent, I really like him. I hope I can eat in his pizzeria when I come back home. I remember when wency was introduce casually to me , ang tanong ko pa ano kanta nya, then after few months after image band become a big hit. On and off tumatambay yan sa banawe inspite of his kasikatan. I was invited in few of their concert too. Down to earth walang ka arte arte
Hindi sya suplado, I remember Wency nung ako ay crew pa ng Mc Donalds Q.Ave, at nagkaroon kami ng sportfest sa subdivision kung san sila nakatira. tapos nakaupo lang ako noon kung san din sya nakaupo may dala syang tennis racket, si Wency na curious noon tapos nag-ask pa nga sya sa akin noon "ano meron?" sinagot ko sya na "meron po kaming sportfest sa Mc Do" , tapos ayun sabay nagpa authograph nako sa vacant t-shirt ko. so hindi po sya suplado.I will never forget having an encounter with my idol. na hindi kailangan magmakaawa just to get notice. Tao lang din sila feeling ko pag chill lang tayo nakakakita tayo ng artist ay ipa feel natin sa kanila na they are just normal people, wanting the space that they need.
Wency was definitely a symbol of the 90's. After Image has become popular because of him. They had written a lot of good songs which described an entire generation. I remembered very well when me and my friends jammed with our ordinary acoustic guitar, tag-ulan, only you, next in live, pagtawid, and forevermore were always part of that jAmming session. I had a friend na sobrang fAn niya ang until is hoping to meet him personally.
Proud to say I knew him personally during his After Image days. Fan to the max! I am friends with everybody in the band and watched them from the time they started till sumikat na sila.
