If we're talking Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rafael hands down. For improvised weapon, t-shirt with rock/s or a can or bottle of soda. You could put one of your sandals in there! 😂
Working as a corrections officer for just shy of 20 years, the weapon of choice that prisoners used was an improvised flail - made with a sock filled with rocks, batteries, etc or a padlock at the end of a belt
Worked in bars over 30 years . Seen tens of thousands of bar fights . Corona makes the thickest bottles . Most imports will just break off in your hand . Sent so many guys to the ER trying make a movie style broken bottle shiv . Corona bottles act as a club . Always watch for corona bottles .
Lots of great improvised tips! Lots of fun too! Really great seeing you laugh. Humor is extremely important. Guaranteed that more viewers will remember these tips and think of more because of the addition of the humor! Thank you very much as always!!
I once had a training session in a small side room, as the main gym was used by another class. The floor was loose broken concrete, the window sills were at neck height with metal fixings sticking out. It was a health and safety menace but it taught me that your fixed environment can be used as a weapon. Every railing, lamp post, brick wall corner, park bench, curb, step, parked car, litter bin can have offensive and defensive uses.

The newspaper is rolled up, then bent in half, with the striking area being the bent area. It's an Engish weapon called a "Millwall Brick". The idea behind the rolled up magazine is to strike with the end part, like the aforementioned brick, although Iv'e seen a video ov a guy putting coins in the middle before taping, thus creating an improved bludgeon. I have a large bandana with a sewn in pocket, ideal for coins, keys, etc. Both items on your person at the ready.
In an active shooter situation, you are most likely not going to have the resources nor the time or frame of mind to make nunchucks out of magazines. Side note: not all brake cleaner is flammable. A better option that is very debilitating is wasp spray. It often has a spray range of 25 feet or more and it will absolutely blind an attacker if they get sprayed in the eyes with it.
Using real nun chucks, the cordage connecting them would be shorter and if you were to trap an assailants wrist or forearm between them, you can break a limb and cause great pain. Also, not training with nun chucks Can cause injury to you. Been there, done that.
Your home-made rocket tube is anti-vehicle...if you can shack one of those rockets through a car window, someone WILL drive their car off of the road. They will either freak out trying to get the thing out of the vehicle or they'll have a bad reaction to the explosion. Either way....
Great video! Sprays - what about bug sprays? I don't want them close enough to have to use a rolled up magazine. I would hurt myself with those nun chucks. I like the gravel filled t-shirt. I do have soap in a sock. Get a strong metal staff - a strong one that won't bend. Yes, I'm 78 so I do not want close up. The firecrackers were fun but a fire danger especially in the dry SW Arizona desert. How about bow n arrows or crossbows? I know they aren't make shift. Judi
In 🇬🇧 restricted weapons. When I was 6 my dad showed me to attach metal pipe on pellet gun barrel. Slide a shotty cartridge down the extended pipe then when u fire the pellet the pointed front acts like firing pin on the cartridges percussion cap 👍😎💪🇬🇧
As a general rule the nanchaku cord, rope etc should be about the width of your wrist, drape cord over top of your wrist top of chucks should just touch the side's of your wrist. Almost anything put down in a sock is also effective. A beer bottle will bring you to your knees and won't break most of the time, dont ask how I know 🤕 LoL Outstanding AF , p.s. a bo staff should be from the ground up to your temple for proper manuvering. I've used and studied traditional type weapons for about 40 yrs they can be just as effective today as they were in the past. Stay safe out there!!
I got a heavy duty aluminum louisville slugger t ball bat at goodwill today for 4 bucks. You can never have too many baseball bats laying around in vehicles or around the house.
Jason....when you did the video on survival options in the Alaska airport....I wanted to tell you about the weapons I use when traveling. I get them thru airport security and get into court houses. I want to show you w/o playing my hand. I use most of it for EDC.
Roll your magazine so that the spine is on the outside. If you have time, dunk the magazine in water. The spine forms a hard ridge to concentrate the force of the blow and the water adds a significant amount of weight. Try testing a wet magazine off camera and you'll really notice a difference.
I personally have my trailer hitch ball in a sock. But advise that you tie some knots in the end because it will break through the end. I promise you it works. 4J4E
I’ve been hit in the head with a full Bottle of champagne by a marines wife. Didn’t break. Sucked bad. I liked gravel and tee shirt best for sure. Well actually duck tape too. Just the fact that anything hard can be launched with a sock/shirt is a good reminder in a pinch. Would love to see more “tool testing” videos. See you on the next one.

What is most effective is what they use in trench warfare, close quarters combat. Shotguns, tomahawks, knives, this is being used in ukraine vs russia now
@SurvivalDispatch I did enjoy the video, and I feel you can make a series out of this testing followers ideas haha, sorry I was mostly commenting on what works best, a bit off topic my bad
4:00 if you would roll a newspaper up, would it not make a jabber to the throat and belly etc? And couldn't you pee on it and form it around your hand for a Millwall Brick?
It takes time and effort to make - a spear?! To put a sharp end on, say, a broomhandle? PS The idea of the rolled-up newspaper is to use the end to strike, not the side. Think short sword, not club.
Which one is your favorite?
T=shirt with rocks.
If we're talking Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rafael hands down. For improvised weapon, t-shirt with rock/s or a can or bottle of soda. You could put one of your sandals in there! 😂
The bottle rocket had me laughing! But the broom handle would be my choice. It has reach!
Keep a can of wasp spray handy. That stuff will really put a hurting on an attacker.
Definitely the nunchucks lol

For your bottle, put a few stones inside and shake up and down. Bottom will fall out and presto! Weapon and napping material.
You are a hoot!!! You are having sooooo much fun!! Good to see. Thanks for the info.
Hornet spay has a 20 foot range. They would have to go to the hospital to get his eyes rinsed out But not permeant damage.

Yep. There’s some situational awareness right there
I remember when Bruce Lee's first movie came out. Saw it then. Visited his grave decades later in Seattle. Sleep easy, Master.
Carry a small padlock and length of string to make a devastating swinging weapon. Kept separate, they will pass through inspection stations.
Also remember that most men wear belts so you don't even need a piece of cord ,less to carry
