Stumbled across this video and you got my sub! Would you be willing to share your WAs…the visuals on some of them are really cool and I would love to incorporate some of them into mine.
It feels great on the healing side of things! Still pretty much spin to win unless there's total downtime - no real ranged DPS talents for us, but SCK still does plenty. For some reason windwalker got AoE jade lightning before we did. 😢At least teachings is baseline now though so we don't have to waste a point if we want the basic melee DPS rotation for when there's zero healing needed.
Yea this is indeed fun. BUT when people think higher keys for healers they think "DPS". And if you don't dps accordingly you are not getting picked at all. Some other problems accur, like interrupts and CC are usually melee. So you can't run from fistweaving at some point. Saddly.
I typically only go as high as myth track vault loot and dungeon portals so I don't sweat it too much. You're right about interrupts though - in higher keys I'll weave into melee a bit to interrupt, though when I get a bad group comp for interrupts (like this one) or a good comp with DPS that just aren't using theirs, they don't leave me much option but to heal my ass off. 😂
Glad to see this. I’ve always been a big fan of the soothing mist centric playstyle. I just find it way more cozy in M+, especially during times when healer DPS feels mostly trivial. I was a little worried with the removal of essence font that Blizz was trying to force ppl into dps centric healing. Glad it still seems to be viable. How are finding celestial vs MoH?
I was worried too! But Celestial Conduit is basically Essence Font on steroids. 🤣 I only tried MoH for a few minutes, I found it pretty boring and most of its tree feels like it's designed around the fistweaving abilities without much for a caster. Celestial just has so much... the heart of the jade serpent and the ox absorb procs are really noticeable, passive jade wind during Yu'lon is nice, and Conduit is a pretty massive healing CD especially if I can get a few EnvMs out just before it. There's a couple bugs with the Conduit talents atm but as long as they fix them before live, I'm 100% going that way.

I just picked up casting MW in late Legion and liked it - casting feels like it has more a lot more freedom than fistweaving. No strict rotation, no worrying about melee-unfriendly fights making healing harder than it needs to be, and the fact that it can do crazy healing when it needs to. 😀
A guide for grim batol or for casting MW? I might do one for casting MW closer to launch. This is the WA pack I use, minus a couple WAs I'm still workshopping with for the new hero talent procs: wago.io/z17YkKgoF
@@Fsbr21 Idk what stats would be best to optimize for M+ since I prioritize gearing for raiding, but I aim for around 30% haste (sometimes more for dungeons) and then crit > vers (maybe crit=vers or vers>crit for dungeons, I think any stats can work after haste). That usually works well if I want to be set up for raiding but also good in M+. I'm not really a M+ expert but I hope that helps! 😅

Not true. Got to 3.3 io full pug as mistweaver. Not fistweaving at all.
After that score i stopped, because dps getting oneshot wasnt fun anymore.
