- Smoke 4 year old blue roan mare, she is from the breeding we LOVE, the breeding we own, the breeding we ride, the breeding we compete on, we own so many of them!!!
they are pretty, athletic, snuggly, friendly, easy to train, easy on the eyes, smart, talented and good bodied.
we made this video april 15 2023
all our horses - even the youngsters can handle going to the beach, that entails riding through a thriving and busy community, brush, dirt roads, cement, traffic, dogs, bikes, sandy beach and water....
they are mentally and emotional fit.
we are so proud of our quality horses, ones that people fall madly inlove with instantly and want everyone to know how amazing they are and why!

Omg I love her and the fact that she's ridable without a bit is so superb, she's trooper, strong and powerful, she's not afraid of anything even after falling into a hole. I was worried for after that. lol

No wonder she had such lovely well developed slabs of toned muscle! Nothing like heavy wet sand and water to build strength and endurance. I was lucky to live near sandy beaches and sand hills to exercise on. Both me and my horses got excellent workouts on the sand. You have fine horses because you and your fine man understand their hearts and minds. You guarantee wonderful futures for your horses by training the way you do. Blessings on your family.

Not now days. It's strange to not see a long tail. Even working cow horses and reining horses have the long tail. Is it different in Canada?

Beautiful mare. In my country we don´t go too much through deep sand, bc of the tendons. Even more, if it is such a young horse. Loping through a creek is in my eyes a bit risky as you have seen in the video. One hole or big unseen stone and there can be a damaged leg! Or the young horse starts to feel fear. You trained her well, and I like it bitless. You have a great seat, you are a very good rider and seems like a fabulous sensitive trainer. So I think you don´t need to take that risk to show us the training development like that . Everyone with a good eye must have seen your great work with the horse on the street. Although she was unsure sometimes, she trusted you so much to go everywhere you wanted her to. Just my opinion. You get a thumps up from me.👍👍👍
I think he’s trying to strengthen her using the sand and the water as a workout. She’s 4, so she’s grown and not a baby anymore. I’d imagine she’ll be sore the next couple of days but will get stronger from the good workout.
A suggestion from past experience. Orange or neon safety ribbon tied to the tail and breast collar works well for visual when horse riding in traffic. An orange safety vest for rider works well too.
