I list exclusively on my Samsung Galaxy phone. Have been since 2019. Ryan Roots had picked up an item at a garage sale and listed it immediately from the back of his vehicle, using his phone. My phone took great pictures, so, why not try it out. Way too simple and fast. Last week, my wife had a surgery that I needed to be there and wait for over 3 hours. The day before, I took a series of pictures that I could work on while waiting. I was able to list 20 items from the waiting area in less than 45 minutes. I will never go back to listing on the desktop.
Samsung here also....easy peasy...I was tied to the desktop till I tried,...never going back either...I get on my laptop and do my spreadsheet...and seller hub stuff...that's it!
I recently bought a mossier glass cat for .55 cent. I was so excited, cause it was uranium glass and glowed. I had no idea what they were selling for. It sold for 150.00.🤯 That was my best buy so far.
Phone to list, I can work away from home that way. Ship with PC. A I is ok I feel nobody really reads it anyway, so I tweak and shorten then add my disclosure and any flaws. Musk is truly something else. I do throughly enjoy selling something I saved from the landfill to someone that is replacing a memory like the poster. That’s my favorite part of reselling. I hybrid list. I take a bunch of pictures with my phone including a pic of it on the scale and with the ruler showing measurements if it's big enough that I'll need them for shipping info. . I draft up the listings on my PC which has 2 monitors so I can use the pictures brought up on google photos on my side screen so I can make the listings quick. Then later on when I'm watching tv, or just relaxing in bed. I open my ebay app and pop the pics in and list each item. It's super fast to quickly crop/lighten each item if needed and hit list.
I use my iPhone. Love the AI. You do have to make edits sometimes. Also even though the app doesn’t support video uploads, if you log onto the website directly on the phone, you can upload the videos with no problems. This saves me some time from going back and forth to a desktop.

Book buyers for a book form pre-1950 want more detail than the AI understands about condition. I take a picture and get the basics done and save it as draft through my phone. Then I tweak anything needed and type the descriptions in. Then I can list things as a batch instead of one after the other. It is also far easier to cut and paste things on the laptop than the phone for similar things.

Desktop 100% for listing. A real camera for photos and I move the sd card from the camera to SD card reader on the desktop. Phone only for notifications when away from my listing station. Super fast set up for selling on eBay.
My sourcing sidekick (granddaughter) and I go to the bins together. Always pick up the clothes with the over-priced GW tags attached. Takes about a week and they all sell. They would most definitely sell more if they dropped the prices. But hey, good for me!
As someone who lives rural, loves Bibles and has bought multiple off eBay, I am thankful for the people who sell them on there. As a reseller I will sell Bibles with no issue. As a Christian I will keep extra Bibles on hand to give away to anyone that might want or need one. It's the living Word of God, let's spread it far and wide!

I list with both. I pull the items that I am going to list. I start the listing and save the draft on my PC. Then I jump over to the phone. Open the draft and add the pictures.
I list entirely on my iPhone! Occasionally there will be a feature I need that requires me to go to my desktop. Re: AI-it’s cool and fun, but sometimes wordy and even wrong. The second paragraph usually is a repetition of the first, just more “flowery” language, so I delete it. Still faster-I’ve always been slow with my descriptions. (And AI doesn’t do detailed descriptions of any flaws, etc.) HOWEVER, After a couple of months trying out AI on eBay, I find myself going back to writing my own descriptions-I like ‘em better. 😊 Thanks so much for the video and info.
Man, yesterday I got a massive deal. I paid $125 for literally a truck load of vintage electronics. VCRs, DVD/VCR combos, boom boxes, stereo equipment, two older large flat screen tvs (these sell good on Marketplace not for much though), and other things. I mean there was so much I had a hard time getting all of it in my pickup (including the cab). I feel like I just bought a storage locker. I know I will be throwing a percentage of it out, but even if 1/4 works I will be making a lot of money.

I said the same thing to my Savers crew. My Savers in Yorba Linda use to be great. There is a lot of well to do families in the area. Items priced for a resellers but not any more. Most items are being evaluated. You have to really catch them slipping. I use to spend a about a thousand a month. Now it’s barely a few hundred. They were my #1 source but not any more.
I'm wary of the AI description option. I've had more than one listing that listed incorrect details...such as 'subtitles included, wrong size screen on a digital camera, some other problems' all resulting in INAD returns
Yo Mike! Nice to take that guy's offer $250 is a pretty good profit also. Sometimes just take it . I list mostly on my phone, for me it's easier with the pics and I like it better than the desktop version. Sometimes I go to desktop because there's some stuff you can't do on the phone you can do there.
You are right about Amazon taking huge percentages. That is why most DVDs and CDs are not worth selling on Amazon. The seller would actually have to pay Amazon to sell the DVD. I see so many listed dirt cheap. I do not know how (or why) those sellers do it without losing money.

I use the AI description often and modify it. Some of the AI descriptions make me think of school assignments where we were required to have xxx number of words so we would use 5 words where 2 would do.

I’m not really sold on the A1- it seems too long and really wordy. A large percentage of buyers never read the description. I think it needs some tweaking. I list primarily on my phone and sometimes on my I-pad. My I-phone also works great for pictures.

Use one of the “Shopify” templates and immediately will center the photo in a square after removing the background and adds a nice soft shadow. Lots of features in the the app including Ai. Phone . I use the eBay camera. The AI description is kinda weird. You really have to proof read as sometimes the sentence is rather dumb and obvious a robot said it, or someone not fluent in the English language. I use it but tweak it every time.
My hsuabdn list from the comp and used chat gpt to write the descriptions im gnna tell him the app has it now. I love shipping. Elon musk is a.i lol hes a robot
