Out of all of the outcomes and endings of Solas’ fate, I think that tricking Solas with a fake Lyrium Dagger is the best ending of all. It is poetic that the Trickster Elven God is outsmarted by a Grey Warden/Antivan Crow/Shadow Dragon/Veil Jumper/Mourn Watcher/Fortune Lord.

I know. I always found it ironic that a mortal managed to trick the god of lies. Even Solas respected Rook for that.

Well everyone, if Varric was looking for a closing chapter for his book series, I say this be it. That is it for my playthrough of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. I think it's safe to say that this game is one of my favorite games of 2024. I was just blown away. enjoyed the story, I enjoyed the new characters and return of some old characters and with the updated game engine Bioware made this on, the game itself just looks beautiful. I can't wait to see what the new Mass Effect game will look like. By the way, could you imagine what Knights of the Old Republic would look like on this current engine? I also thought Rook was an amazing protagonist since Hawke in Dragon Age II in my opinion. Not to mention it was really refreshing to play as a Grey Warden once again like we did in Dragon Age: Origins. It was really sad to lose a few companions such as Varric, Davrin and Assan though. Anyway, I really enjoyed playing this game. Hope those of you watched my series did as well.

Got mycopy yesterday and played and for a bit. I loved it! The hair physics ate honetly really good. Just seeing your characters hair (if you have hair that's long) swishing about while running and during cutscenes is quite satisfying for me anyway. And then there's the combat. I actually really live how it's more involved and interesting than just "hold R2 or X" like it was for the other DA games.
Thr romance with Harding is honestly wholesome and I think I'm gonna romance her in my playthrough. How long would you day its take. You to get through it? I'm thinking it's roughly the same length as DAI, but who knows.

@@cheeseburger442 I think it's actually a little longer than Dragon Age: Inquisition and I didn't romance Harding until part 13. It's actually kind of the same as every other romance in previous Dragon Age games. Except pretty much all your companions are pansexual this time or so I've heard. So if you're worried about there being a gender barrier or whatever you wanna call it, I don't think that'll happen in this game. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the game too, by the way.

@@GothicSorcerer Nice. I loved DAI, I really hope BioWare can remake DAO and DA2 for current gen consoles..imagine what those games would look and play like now? Plus they remastered the ME trilogy.
Also on the romance front. I think I may actually go for Bellara instead. I dunno know why, but I've always liked the smart and awkward types. I mean Liars was my girl in the ME trilogy 😁

@@cheeseburger442 Bellara? Good choice. Yeah there were quite a few characters i'd thought about romancing. Harding, Neve, Taash, Lucanis, Bellara. Of course I chose Harding because I liked her back in Dragon Age: Inquisition. It's like if you chose to play as a Dalish Elf in Dragon Age: Origins and one of your closest friends was Merril which you end up seeing her again in Dragon Age II. Also I'd would love to see Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II remade for current gen consoles but I think Bioware already mentioned they're gonna give their 100% focus on the new Mass Effect game right now.

@@GothicSorcerer I actually have a question. So, I recruited Davrin and chose to save Treviso, making Neve hardened and leave the team for a while. The problem is that I forgot to do one of her personal quests beforehand. The question, or should I say questions are:
      1. Can Neve still get the hero of the Veilguard status, and if not can I still achieve the best ending?
      2. Will the missed quest become available again, or is it locked for good? It's the quest where she asks you to accompany her to Dock Town and she offers to get Bellara's serials.
I'm asking cause Google's no help as there's never a definitive answer. I'm hoping me missing that one quest hasn't mucked things up too much as I really don't want to start again just for Neve.
