The short Murano millefiori vase that Lucas sold, I bought one just like it on E Bay for $17 w/sticker no chips or cracks. You can find deals on E Bay but it takes a bit of searching to find them.

Been buying and selling since the 80s my moto is you buy high and sell low you make more friends that way😂. I bought a ring for $140 at auction just to find out it was Avon but I still have it no use to anybody. I watch your shows love the unpacking videos reminds me of my good old days of bringing home all those crates from the auction and going thru the jewels. Ty
What I’ve learned is just because it’s made in Japan, doesn’t make it automatically collectible. Quality is key so I scrutinize more closely before I purchase to resell. And I pretty much have to like it personally and trust my taste.
I underestimated the shipping on a Fisher-Price Circus I sold online this weekend becaue it didn't quite fit in the box I had picked out for shipping. I got burnt on that one--big boxes are expensive to ship!

The collendar in the Sold bins is actually a chinois and its pusher, but without its stand. I suppose it would work as a collendar in a pinch, but it's a sieve really. Bet the Givenchy necklace in the Whatnot goes overseas; the hot market for GIvenchy is Asia. Lost money - the memorable one was a BIG pair of Mexican sterling earrings. They looked like something Frieda Kahlo would have loved and worn. I think I paid about twice what I should have because they were so gorgeous. Down the tubes they went.(sigh)
Yes, I remember using that exact sieve to make applesauce with my mom when I was growing up. It definitely had a stand it sat in:) Great memories! 😊

The content creators have zero say over ads. Most videos have at least 2 per video. Like the other person said, the ads are what give you free videos on TH-cam. They are how the content creators get paid. If you get TH-cam premium, however, you will never have to watch an ad. It’s the best thing ever, lol.

Aww, Mamaw, don't worry about forgetting the word of the day. It happens to all of us, and we love you anyway. It's been a awhile since I was a reseller and I can't recall any particular item I lost money on. It seems like it's always a surprise, and something you think will bring a good price, but for some reason the interest just isn't there.
Absolutely! We all forget things from time to time. Generosity is a great word of the day! I would add that we could also be generous with kindness, something your family always does.
I don’t think I have ever lost on reselling an item but there have been times when I broke even. Always a lesson to be learned. 🤷♀️
