In all history of North Bucovina, CZERNOWITZ was under the Romanian government (1918-1939) no more then 20 years and that's all.
The real Country who have all rights to demand back North Bucovina including Czernovitz, to his territories is Austria, because Czernovitz was under Austrian Government for almost 150 years(1774-1918).

Was under autonomous Moldavian Guvernment of Cernăuți. Buchenland, called with this name by Austrians (today Bukovina in German), was a component of Austro-Hungarian Empire with Autonomous Moldavian Guvernment. Here 89% of the population was Moldavian in 1774. After, in 1918, they joined Romania. North Bucovina is Moldavian land, not Austrian and was NEVER Ukrainian or Russian. Since 14th century, it was part of Moldavian principate and before was part of Dacia with a influence of slav tribes. But mainly was part of Dacia and Moldova. In 1918, after the end of Austrian and Hungarian occupation, it returned to Moldova that joined Romania Mare. Thanks to God. But unfotunately in 1940 and 1944 "CCCP" occupied this land and gave this land to RSS Ucraina. But Ucraina never had this land.

This is Ukrainian city that was founded by Ukrainians, built and embellished by Austrians, occupied by Romanians and Soviets and returned to Ukraine again. The history has come full circle.

Ucraina never had North Bucovina !! Romania didn't occupied North Bucovina. Austro Hungarian Empire and USSR in 1940 / 1944 occupied North Bucovina. But this was Dacian land before 13th century and after was Moldavian land of principate of Moldova. From 13th century to 1774 was Moldavian land. Austro -Hungarians occupied this land and the population in 1774 was 89% Moldavian. Austrian census, you can easily search it on internet. 89% of the population build more than the restant 11%. Ok???? In 1859, Moldova joined Romania and in 1918 also North Bucovina (Moldavian land) became part of Romania Mare. Ucrainians, Austrians, Hungarians and Russuans are just occupants. Jews were jews, not Ucrainian and not other. Jews were just jews and they spoke Yiddish and Hebrew. North Bucovina was returned to Moldova that joined Romania in 1918. Ioan Cuza, a Moldavian Governator, make the union of Moldova and Valahia in 1859. Moldavians and Valahians joined Romania. So Bucovina, that is Moldavian land, is also Romanian land, but not Ucrainian or Russian !! You just occupied it. In the time of Austro Hungarian Empire, schools of North part of Bucovina (especially Cernăuți) were in Romanian and German language, not in Ucrainian.
      Ok???????
