I had the insane fortune of finding one of these on eBay in the UK last year. It was bundled with some sharp shots and listed as a Swarmfire I think. It worked perfectly for about 6 months. The trigger began to perform like you described. Before that, the dart would fire upon the trigger being pulled, rather than released. I can’t see myself doing much with it now. Spot on video 👍
i had this blaster, it was super cool and nice until the trigger broke. opened it up but could not fix it because a piece of the trigger shattered . Still want to get one more
@@xeno4415 all I’m gonna say is with how immensely strong the spring is, you probably won’t be able to get it back together without using an industrial clamp lmao
I don’t know if there are 2 variants but when I take mine apart the shell can be totally detached from the inside and you have to take apart a mini shell inside the main shell to actually get to the internals. This seems to contradict what is said in the video. I trust the video is correct but now I’m a bit confused. I might have a “blue trigger” variant ( the trigger is not actually blue) where the internals are improved
@@TesserasNerfRoom true, thanks for the clarity .You can reinforce it with hot glue around the area with the rubber buffer before it breaks although you would need to fully take it apart and use trial and error with how much glue to put where (I’m doing it now) Thank you for the amazing video as always and for bringing this important issue to my attention
@@NearlyAnEngineer thank you for the info, if you have any more ideas how to reinforce it or fix just the catch so it won’t snap, that’d be greatly appreciated
@@TesserasNerfRoom as far as I am aware the area that breaks is the rubber buffer area since the whole spring load slams down on it every time it fires and once that breaks it’s done for. if you attempt to reinforce it it’s probably a good idea to also use superglue on any stress fractures that might have formed. Hot glue is also slightly squishy so it would be able to absorb the impact of the main saaembaly slamming down on it.Also in the power mode on the knob where it has a worm gear in the power position it puts great strain on the bottom , mine has stress marks in that area but it should be fine not in the maximum power mode.

Ngl, I really enjoy these outside videos.
This is even more evidence of you being Coop772 II. You have the same type of enclosed pool.

There's a simple solution for getting a Snapfire 8.
Get a Desperado instead.
@@Demonanimator only problem with the desperado is the lack of the smooth trigger this one has, plus it’s a lot fuglier
