Very possible. The main difference between closed loop and open loop performance (besides emissions improvements) is slightly more refined stop and go behavior around town.
Hey i have this setup and the previous owner took out the 02 sensor and that’s what I have. Have had it for 10 years runs well but now the plugs are white looking like running lean.
Yes I think that is what they guy said when I bought it 10 years ago. How do I deal with tuning when its like this and or what is going on with that type of running. I am used to carburetors and learning all i can with this injection, thanks!.@@JoeEngineer
I have the 3 pin connector. But my wires have been cut by some goof previously owning this. Trying to perform this test. Trying to find out where these wires connected to. For instance the green wire? Perma tune box?
Google around for the factory wiring diagrams. It's part of the "Oxygen Sensor System" circuit connected to the computer under the passenger seat. You could also start there and follow the harness into the engine bay.

Will having an incorrect duty cycle, calls the engine to tub slightly under acceleration with a frequency that’s around 0.5hz?

Ok that could be it. It is a little touchy around town for sure. Also has a little jump (almost like turbo lag) around 2500 rpm
