My favourite band of the last decade. Always hoped they would come to Munich some day, but now realized they have split. Their first three albums are dope.
I was at their last show in Brooklyn. They announced their breakup a few months later and I still wish they would make new music together, they truly do have a very special musical chemistry
@@kylieglatt7015 im so glad you got to see that. I was at their last show in London UK. I didn't have the chance to meet Anand but i briefly met Ira and hung with Chris for the night whilst he Dj'd. Chris was super interesting telling me about how his dad was friends with John Waters, but when i asked him how he manages to sing the same songs night after night he just rolled his eyes and looked kinda dead inside. They're all super skilled in diff ways, so its cool to see em pursuing their individual goals. I mean, after all, who of us has the same dreams as we had when we were 20years old, right? Chris is composing for film now and has an Adult Swim animated show coming up. Im just super grateful they all gave us a legacy of fantastic, underrated songs 😊💗
Daniel Drader well said my man, I have Sirius in my car, and it pretty much stays on Sirius XMU, where coincidentally I first heard Yeasayer years ago when it was called Sirius- Left of center, ch 26. WXPN in southeast PA and philly area is the same kind of station like KEXP and have that on more in my car than anything these days, truly incredible radio station! I can't believe some of great music they play on there? That makes me excited for some reason...
Astonished on how they make such a plethora of amzing sound and connection. Ira on that frettless tho 😮 yeasayer is eternally spectacular 👌
Ira Wolf Tuton is the most underrated bassist on the planet I swear

Wish I had the opportunity to see them live. The creativity and talent (especially the bass!) is otherworldly
Drove two hours last minute to see them 11 years ago. My wife and I had just found out she was pregnant with our first and only boy. ❤
Yeasayer is so yay ^_^
Cold Night - 00:23

I saw them in Mexico a few weeks ago and they play awesome!
I couldn't love this more.
So good to hear from these guys again! Saw them in Detroit earlier this year in May and it was mind blowing.
Love you guys! Stay awesome & weird! And come to N Cali sometime!

Miss you guys!! Seattle was such a great time.
This album took me a while to grasp but now I really love it. It's really fantastic in it's own right. I'm excited for the release of erotic reruns 😊
Completely different arrangement of songs but it remains the strange, modern and wonderful band
that's a badass fretless bass right there
It sure is! Those arpeggios at 25:37 blow my mind every time!
Ira is a true bass babe
0:40 ooooh.....i want that guitar!
it's gorgeous. always loves telecaster style guitars....and that may be the prettiest one i've ever seen.
I miss Yeasayer
Please come back guys
This is actually really really good.
GOD how this I missed this? This is THEE band!
🎶 I AM CHEMISTRY 🎶
what a gig that would have been! m83 and yeasayer pls!
lucidchips It was amazing!
god damn these boys have always been amazing singers fuck man a lot of rock and indie music singers are pretty shit but these guys are SKILLED
These arrangements are insane. Fuck I miss Yeasayer.
It's a vibe! 😄
For years now any time I ever hear or read the name Sioux Falls ... “He was born in a town called Sioux Falls 🎵🎵”
🔥
Wait so that bass riff is on guitar.....then that little solo at 09:58 is on a bass....
💜
so tight
Fuck yea ! This station is the shit!

Great band. Wish the host would have given them some more time to play
Absolutely agreed.
it was a toss up, they definitely had some good rapport but the mixing on the songs is too good not let them play it out. more of both i reckon.
Where dont come close?????
nice!
Nice band!
Yeasayer are so odd live. Half their songs sound 10x better live, while others sound so much worse. Incredible band though.
what happened to the original drummer?
DOB for Ryan and Bryan Adams is indeed the same - Nov. 5.
Honestly I liked this Sunrise arrangements here better than the original. 🤭🤭
Tbh they are almost two different songs. Other than the vocals there are no similarities.
😯😯😯😯😯
Why they didn't play Don't come close?
Gaspare Ressa GTA tainted it?
Круто !!!!
Generation X!
How do you talk about Joey Waronker for 51 seconds and not mention Walk Mink ;-)
"That looks like good scotch but REALLY bad coffee."
Dynamic Interesting band, shame about the presenter!
This is the tits. Also, the drummer looks exactly like Nash from Red Oaks.
Entirely new crew except the lead man
Mmmm no, this is all the original members except the drummer.
This band used to be really good
