Wonderful tutorial! I was looking for new inspiration for making afghan throws. I decided to use this for my daughter's. I made these once when I was 9-but I'd forgotten how. Thank you for the VERY clear instructions and having a clear speaking voice. It will be awhile before I make my daughter's blanket (I am still working on my oldest son's), but I would love to send you a picture when it is done. Is there a way I can do that?

I know this is going to be a 'stupid' question but how do you make your 1st stitch. I can see part of the process, but I seem to ALWAYS have a KNOT before my 1st stitch. When I'm using thicker wool, I can really feel the knot. If I can feel it so can my customers. Is there a way for you to show us?
