Not sure what the point of the video is without comparing the output side-by-side. Thanks for taking your time to do this!
it was more of a show n tell for people to see when it just started to come out and get popular. if i had it today i would do more comparisons, but i did do some comparisons to the epson c6500, cool little machine had some small things to work on but for a print and cut machine on the low end for labels i think it had or has potential for small home business for sure. thanks for watching

ye its a great little printer for sure. i been using it lately for product stickers of my own logos to throw in for some of my own cnc products i sell. but def like having it around. works well. ye my wife rolls her eyes when i say i need something else she is like what??? lol i just don't like depending on people especially in a pinch for urgent stuff so being able to cnc and print on the fly has advantages! lol
Do you use SVG or PNG? My PNG always gets blurred and i dont know what i do wrong.
hello again :) I forgot to ask before, can you print vinyl stickers with this printer? I can see the media/rolls being printed onto paper-style rolls. Wondering if this can print onto vinyl? and cut it as well? Thanks man! :)
hi, not on actual vinyl, but prints on the plastic BOPP based media you see in the videos etc.. then can be cut. people use them the same way. but def only media type stock with a receptive coating to accept the ink. i believe you can do 12 inches long max but haven't tested. hope that helps!
How many labels do you think this machine’s cartridge can print for 6 inch by 2 inch rectangular size ? Roughly ?
Just trying to understand if it’s financially viable. Is there any way to gauge how much output a cartridge can give ?

i wish i can answer this to help you but there are to many variables. one thing i can say is the ink carts seem to last for me and remember you are only buying one ink cart at a time where the cost on my epson i need 4 ink carts that cost more then double. side note i think you have to accept a certain amount of drawback having a print and cut feature, i def think you would be profitable with it! maybe reach out to Primera they have done case studies to give u better understanding of costs. go on their website and click live chat.
Hey, did you end up getting an answer for this anywhere? I'm also looking to see if it's financially beneficial over outsourcing the printing. Understandable that it's super convenient for short runs, but if they're expensive per piece then it defeats the purpose!

i guess it depends on the color and coverage because the low setting prints pretty quick, but would only print cut 10 at a time so you don't run into issue. time wise not really sure, on that printer i haven't done more then 50 at a time and only takes a few minutes. i appreciate you watching my videos, like and subscribe if you haven't already done so! :)
@@DaPrintHouse just subbed and liked - i guess I'm kinda looking for something like this, but bigger. Do you know of anything more expensive and larger that does the same thing? I'm looking for something that can be used to print and plot magnets, like promotional ones :) any help pointing towards a larger one would help amazingly :)
@@hatesitrick bn-20 would be good for an all in one. i prefer separate cutters for signage because when doing small decals with contour cuts it can tie up a printer. prismjet 24 isnt to high but you will need a separate cutter. otherwise bn-20 is a good option for double cost but can print on sign grade materials. thx for sub

@@hatesitrick i use a smaller 24" graphtec machine, never had any of the cheap ones. but you need one with registration mark reading.
I'm thinking of making rolls for my crochet business. Can I print as many the length of the paper or am I limited to how many I can print?

Your titles keep saying icolor 250 but I can't seem to find information on it. I'd like to compare this to the icolor 250
Icolor 250 was just released few weeks ago so it's the same exact printer, so figured the videos could help users for both

to a degree they are waterproof for indoor etc. nothing nothing otherwise. i use my larger printers print to lam when needed etc

Very slow, it will need many printing times for 300 logo. I think useless
Just like many printers print quality will change with speeds. Do I think it can handle full production running all day? To a small shop or hobbyist. But I only use it for my own product labeling and it's been a huge asset with print cut on demand. It has its place for sure but maybe not what you intend to use it for. Thanks for stopping by.
