Great video Sage. Looks like that sesh at Ceres set you up nicely for these jumps. Gonna be hitting the shed in April and Wayne's might have to get on the list
You ain't kidding. It actually all started with the Hans Rey jump on Mt Penn. But you're right the session at Ceres made a huge difference. Def add this trail to you must hit list Sam. I was hesitant because it was labeled a Blue on Trailforks, but these jumps are def a Black.
That was a wild ride Sage, those jumps were big and the trail was very bumpy, but you pulled it off cleanly and took all the jumps, it was awesome to watch. Great ride and awesome jumps mate. Thanks for sharing and have a great week🤙
I can't believe you guys climbed off the fire road😂that might be a shed first. You bois crushed those gaps, I love that last one cause it overshoots you so hard but still is comfortable. Also ride looked great with snow down.
What a great day! Your confidence was so high!! Love to see it brother! It was cool wearing the camera again. Nice to see you in the front once and awhile!
Wayne's is always so fun! MORE actually funded a proper jump line w/ legal maintenance, so those jumps will be removed & replaced and improved in the near future. Come on back when they're done!!
That sounds awesome Nick. I hope they keep the spirit and essence of what Wayne's currently has. I like the ramped jumps with gaps over the lippy table tops you find everywhere else.
Nice one Sage... Those gaps were... sizable mate! Nicely done! And nice to see you ride for a change as well. Nice tough! But... I find your lack on knee pads disturbing... Hahaha... Seriously. I don't know how you ride the tech and chunk you do without them... :D
Ha! You are not the first to comment on my lack of knee and elbow pads. I've tried a few different brands, but I've never found ones that I like. I prefer the minimalist approach I guess ;) Thanks for watching and commenting Phil.
@@TrailSage I bet... But Knee pads bro. I have had my pair for AGES... They're a hard shell. And the state of the left knee makes me shudder... Every tear and scuff would have been in my knee cap. I managed to catch (on video) my knee htting the ground in a crash... Watching the pad take the brunt of my knee sliding into a root, the impact of which left a massive rip in the pad.. And innitiate the roll I ended up in... Was worth every cent I paid for them.

@@TrailSage yeah those were legit gaps for sure. really nice work clearing that whole line...
@PhillyMTB so when you coming to Ceres...
@@BentSpokesMTB It's happening soon Steve. I'm gonna hit you up. I need some of that Sage confidence when I go to the Shed in a couple months!
When in April? I'm gonna be there the weekend of April 5th

This is the kind of content we need more of! Great riding from all three of you, keep 'er rippin!
Thank you so much Jim!
OMG, amazing video Sage. It makes me wanna work my jumping skills very soon. That Wayne's trail is soooooooooooo long.
Yes! You got this Luis. I just started doing this type of stuff in my 40s. We are never too old to learn.

Oh man the snow had us worried on the jumps, but after a few test runs we got more confident. Your video totally inspired this ride. Thanks Zane!

Thanks Danny! We were all achieving maximum stoke that day. So grateful to have these days with you and Stick.
Healthy nervous is good, well done with the jumps boys 👏 It was looking particularly bumpy out there today 🚴
Thanks Martin. Sometimes its hard to tell the difference between the right kinds of nervousness's. Bumpy lumpy trails are my happy place ;)
Looks like a sick trail! Good work on those jumps guys! 🫡
Thanks Nick and Katie!!!
Dude! That was nice! Awesome video. 👏
Thx brotha! We had a blast that whole day.
I asked for more jumps and you delivered. Nice work kid keep working on em jumps!
Ha! Right on Sean, I do my best to deliver ;)

@@TrailTalesDang brotha! You should def do a review on those pads, that story you just mentioned is powerful.
@@TrailSage Hahaha... Mayhaps... They're an old set so I doubt peeps woul be interested in them...
Nice work - definitely a blue trail by The Shed standards but for an average rider the black jumps is a good callout
The Shed def has its own trail rating standards for sure! lol. Thanks for watching and commenting Forrest.
Awesome video
Thanks Ron!!!
That’s some serious bromance $hit right there. 🤣
Spreading the love and stoke whenever possible, lol.
Ok so Fredrick watershed was good. But don’t ride boundary line it is in horrible condition.
Right on, thank you for the insight Ethan!
