UFC didn't do anything to him. The NSAC are the ones that fined him. If you're surprised that they are using the brawl to sell the fight, then I don't know what to say to you except that you don't know business.
the ufc said the brawl was bad that it mad jon and dc look bad but than they go and use it to sell the fight! the promo makes jon look like a big piece of shit!
The UFC is right, it was wrong for them to fight, that doesn't mean it wouldn't sell tickets and there is no reason at all not to use the footage so they can give an accurate summary of their pre-fight antics.
If Jon Jones came off looking like a piece of shit, it was because he was acting like it. Did they put him on strings and force him to swing punches and talk shit in interviews?
typically UFC. They did the same thing with Sonnen and Wanderlei when they got into a brawl at TUF Brazil. Dana kept bashing it but he promoted the hell out of this TUF season and this fight (that never happened, I know) by using this brawl. Fucking hypocrites.

Jon Jones' reach advantage will damage cormier really bad, by the time he gets close enough to actually take down jones, cormier will be pretty bruised up and jones will be able to escape cormier. Anyone that thinks that reach has no effect on a fight has never been in any sort of fight.

I think the difference early in the fight will be Jones's striking and ability to land big shots through better reach. Frankly I can't see how Cormier's otherwise excellent strength and wrestling skills will get the better of Jones, because he (Jones) is also fantastically skilled on the ground. I suspect Jones may well do to Cormier what he did to Shogun Rua in 2010: avoid being taken down, while sapping his energy with better striking, and when Cormier's tired, he'll go to ground for a submission finish. Jones is in his prime and probably way too good. Prove me wrong, DC.

Cormier hasn't lost a round in his career, infact he hasn't even come close to losing a round. Not once in any of his fights has he been in the slightest amount of danger, he is the best wrestler in the UFC by far and his hands are so fucking quick its unreal. Shit I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even need to use his wrestling to beat Jones, I reckon he could tag him at will. It is not going to be a close fight when those 2 meet, Daniel Cormier is an unstoppable wrecking machine.
It's a shame Cain hasn't been healthy to help DC for the Jones fight. That's definitely going to be a huge factor.

Jon Jones has inside game, distance game, hand control game. alot of opponents jon jones has faced are lacking a necessary skill set to beat him. i am 99% certain that daniel cormier will lose this fight, jon jones is a different fighter than the rest of daniel compeition. Jon jones has almost mastered the basics. if cormier wins its by accident
Jones weakness, if his fights are anything to go by, would be Jiu Jitsu. He gets in a dominant position like a wrestler but a jiu jitsu artist can easily capitalise on his slip ups.

Elite Wrester with KO power is WAY WAY better than A Striker with weaker wrestling. Jones isn't even a good boxing striker, he has good leg kicks.

Everyone knows the media day brawl was bullshit. Sure Jones shouldn't of responded the way he did, but Cormier had no reason whatsoever to even push or hit Jones. People touch noses, foreheads, sometimes even lips (Silva lol), and its normal for the stare down. Stop making excuses Cormier, take responsibility and stop trying to make it seem like your the victim.
If Cormier was the same height as Jones I would have no doubt Cormier had this in the bag, but because there is a 6 inch height difference and God knows how much more reach Jon has Im not so sure. DC is strong, fast, amazing wrestler and I hope he wins but if he can't then maybe its just a size limitation after all...
