Love this Stephen, that's why I upload them. I think it's important for people and the fans to see the '12th man' and its nice for us to look back on a golden season!
@@bryancorcoran760 Yes, sadly, there is a minority of knuckleheaded welsh 'far right' which is ironic as Welsh Independence is considered a 'far left' thing, but people hardly understand what is left and right anymore anyway. Though, I think it is a big mistake, or there is an agenda, for the owners to comment about Welsh independence as they have done. They have nothing to do with the social ecology and history of Wales, nor the politics. They should really stay out of Welsh nationalism ( English nationalism is considered 'racist' by some Welsh nationalists, which is a hypocrisy). To be fair, it is good to have Welsh nationalism, why not, let's have regional independence in England as well, why not. Though, sad that in 2023, some idiotic people do still equate an "English person" with "The British Ruling Class" -which is a brainless assumption. Lucky it is only a minority. Wonder why the owners are happy to bumlick King Charles and welcome him to the Racecourse and then witter about Welsh Independence ?
Well if we stole all your resources, natural, mineral and human..whilst burying and building all sorts of toxic crap in your country and sending you all our pensioners and oddballs, so that you will never be able to escape us democratically, you English would absolutely fucking hate us too.. You hate us anyway.
Hi Drew, we have a friendly international there this Oct. I was at the last one in 2019, and the atmosphere was incredible. Hopefully, the next one will be even better!
I have just uploaded a video of the last international goal scored there to my channel for anyone wanting a little trip back in history, we had 4 stands then 🤣
No problem Drew! I think the reason they don't at the moment is due to capacity. It has to be over 15,000 to host the national team, when the new stand is built I think we will finally get a few more games!
@@wrexhamisthename Good luck for the new season, always remember, when we last beat England, at the Racecourse, what memories. I hope, the FAW, rotate the games, between Cardiff City stadium and the Racecourse, two, fortresses are better than one.

'On the Ball City' is better, ;-) as well as it is the oldest football song still sung in the world. First written for Norwich CEYMS in the late 1800s, used for the clubs that birthed Norwich City FC, Norwich Caley's (former Chocolate Factory), Norwich Teachers, also probably, Carrow FC, Thorpe FC, then re-written and recorded for the new Norwich City FC in 1902. Maybe someone should come and help Norwich out for that reason alone ? 🙂 th-cam.com/video/jPVn9eLOkF0/w-d-xo.html - you can hear the singers Norfolk accent. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/On_the_Ball%2C_City

@@danwilliams7423 It was a tongue in cheek comment. I was joking old bor (mate in Norfolkese ) . I don't think one is better than the other in fact. On the ball city is a different style, the original and the modern version with the fans, which is faster. Though even the early one, was more like a fun folky / piano musical hall style typical of the early 1900s when it was recorded. This song is much more a folky ballad with more of a hymnal quality. Wrexham fans had adopted this song years before Cymru football fans, due to Wrexham’s tenacity to survive against all odds in its recent history.
