So, the offer was real and Armitage wasn’t gay. They presented two different lies: 1) it was a joke and never a real offer. 2) it was just to put pressure on the husband to agree to start having kids and wasn’t a real offer.

Husband tells wife to go get her $2m and find somebody to have a family with. But Armitage doesn’t play that game. The game for him is coercing the husbands into the humiliation of being cuckolded and yet staying with the wife.
For the wife, it’s no big deal. It’s actually flattering. It’s a win/win/win. She gets her ego stroked, a huge bit of money and some different sex. She doesn’t understand how humiliating and emasculating it is for her husband (nor does she seem to care).
