You have to explain about two types of fluxes used in SAW process namely Fused and Agglomerated fluxes. Fused are acidic in nature which doesn't absorb moisture from atmosphere hence hydrogen level is very low and welds are free from porosity whereas Agglomerated are basic in nature which absorbs moisture from atmosphere and tend to become porous in property. Manufacturer's recommendations must be strictly followed for baking in hopper type ovens. Electrodes, here wires are coated with copper for better electrical pickup and serves as corrosion resistance as we all know.

Sorry but slightly wrong, copper coating on welding wires is for shelf life, not for better electrical pick up. There have been wires procuded with alternative coatings without any detrement to pick up. Indeed there were tests carried out many years ago on this "Welders Myth"and the difference between copper coating and uncoated wires was negligable if nothing. It did find however that the process in coating the wire often left a residue left on the wire which reduced the electrical contact on the tip and longivety of consumables.

Yes bcz in DCEP, more heat will go in electrode and less heat in sheet. If we provide more heat to workpiece it will melt and welding will not possible to do.
