That was awesome! Thanks for sharing. I have a Moli 72V 48Ah/QS273/FD 72530 so it's nice to see some other high power ebikes in the wild. Are you running a 72850 controller?
the 750 watt limit is a National guide line along with the category definitions. The Motor scooter stuff is generally state by state rules. The part I want to say again is - Cops generally don't know the nuance of the laws. I'd hate to see you get in an argument with a cop over this and lose because of the cop's brute force and awkwardness. Winning an argument with me does you no at all during a pull over. i believe if you are able to keep up with traffic on highways doing what 40 45 touching 50 then you are riding a motorcycle and should be restricted to where motorcycles ride on the street .. if you are a world class road bike enthusiast or pro you should also be on the street the weight that will be felt on impact is deadly and should remain on the road all that said if you are doing 15 mph on a bike path i won't care that you are there but once you head plus 15 you should be on the road.
I wouldn't call them motorbikes at all, but yes impacts do become deadly regardless at certain speeds. The convenience of these as opposed to a Motorbike, in my opinion, is we can take our own safety into our own control. Sometimes cars don't respect bike lanes, or there just isn't a bike lane altogether. So, being able to switch from sidewalk, to bike lane, and then to keeping up with traffic allows me to be the safest. For myself & others. If I feel like traffic in any way is being sketch, I can just shift over & go the speed appropriate to avoid the sketchy behavior.
Pimp my Roadrunner V2 broooo 😂🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Would love to mod it to last more than 100+ miles in one single charge. The original battery and the system in general is asscheeks.
Remember - any ebike that is greater than 750 watt, does not have operational pedals, and /or goes faster than 28 MPH is considered a motor scooter. No sidewalks or bike trails allowed; and it requires a motor cycle license, license plates, and insurance just like a gasoline powered motor scooter. Some states have 2 different kinds of operator licenses; one for single speed and one for gearshift motorcycles. Single speed probably applies to you - check the local rules! Remember too - cops are not lawyers and many times don't know the rules.
This is not so in Washington state. No motorcycle is required to have insurance. Motor scooters do not require a motorcycle endorsement, class 2 and 3 electric vehicles do not require a drivers license to operate in the bike lane or multi use trails. E Scooters are ok on the sidewalk in most cities. Even my e-gokart is allowed in the bike lanes, although too low to the ground to feel safe.
Any policy, like the 750watt thing, only applies to persons engaged in commerce. Example, you are being compensated wages and there’s a policy that you have to wear a green shirt. Therefore if you’re not being compensated wages than no policy applies to you

Thanks! The controller I'm using is a Fardriver 72680 and the display is a DKD display.
that was pretty insane man. I don't think I could do that unless I got a proper motorcycle or emoto lol
Yup there are very few PEVs I trust to do those highway speeds and this is one of them. This thing is an absolute beast I didn't lose much charge.
I totally rode my sleeper scooter on the centennial trail . But I was respectful of the speeds, and people. No one had a problem with it.
I'm watching this right now on my TV beast stealth bomber!!!
That EBG tune! Also a good battery definitely helps 😁
One nasty pothole, and you’re done. Sheesh, be safe dude. 60-70mph is too fast for me. Balls of steel.
How fast you were traveling on this ride ?
60/65+mph for most of the ride. Around 70 on the faster highways.

Any Ebike capable of 50mph+
