Darius JG you have mentioned. He is a great duelist early and actually has semi-decent ganks. Displacement + slow + great 2v2. I don't think Ambessa comes anywhere close to it.

@perryjg funnily enough the video that made her low health clear painfully apparent was dantes' video on her 😂. She seems like some pretty good fun too. I just don't want to feel like building lifesteal is a must for a champion. Although her R scales off your lifesteal stat I think. So maybe it wouldn't be that bad? Just feels bad to be constrained to a single set of core items. But when she's played top it seems like you play almost whatever you need with her. Either lethality or bruiser. I low key think this champ is gunna be ass. Overhype is crazy, but she got no lane sustain pre 6. Won’t get AA late game for energy. And she can’t jungle well.
There is a TH-cam video with Ambessa clear and it sits at 3:06 red side start, she is the definition of a duelist as of right now nobody will be able to outduel her for sure (nerfs incoming for sure tho), and clear speed past first item component gets so much easier as you dont need to perfect it and animation/dash cancel. Ganks i guess are meh but gl fighting teamfights later and around objectives as well as invades at any lvl. I think shes gonna go crazy in jgl, ganks are meh for sure but she has new character plot armor so shes gonna be op anyways.

Obviously she has dashes but I think what he means is that they're not actually functional for gapclosing at the beginning of a gank. You only get a dash after using an ability and all of her abilities root her during the cast so you're a) not gaining very much time compared to just walking in and b) blowing all your cooldowns before you're even in range of the enemy. Her actual kit for ganking is similar to Kindred or Graves (dash and a slow) but unlike these two champs she lacks the ability to clear quickly and / or invade and win duels early.
they created two top/mid characters in a row wtf, where's my new mage jungler at, I don't wanna play the cryptid hand-me-down mages in the jungle anymore. Brand, Karthus, Fiddlesticks, like they keep doin it to us. Even Taliyah is more of a mid laner now
Mages arent mesnt to be junglers bro. Hence why they are mages. A jungler just traditionally doesnt have the weaknesses of a mage. And mages need to be mega buffed in the jungle to very overpowered proportions as seen with brand and zyra to be viable.
@@WorldKeepsSpinnin wonder why there are mages that are viable in the jungle then. certainly none of them are mega buffed right now: it becomes a matter of clear speed with a mage, what they lack in other facets they make up for in farm, and can work without being completely busted as evidenced by mages only occasionally being considered OP when they get over tuned items
@@festivehands There are no mages viable in the jungle. Karthus is not a traditional mage, he has his passive and his ult. Without those he wouldnt be able to be a jungler at all. Trad mages (things like brand, zyra, hwei, syndra etc) are not in the jungle and if they are, they suck in it. A throw pick. Unless overtuned (which goes for any champion) When your weak to gap close and extended trades, how do u expect to be able to compete out in the open where every other jungler excels at that? mages win lane freely, and snowball. They dont jungle.

Play morgana jungle she’s extremely underrated and amazing in the jungle. Very fast clears, Amazing grub taker, lots of cc and lockdown utility with black shield, Great in ganks and clears. A little weak in the 1v1 if they get on top of you but amazing in team fights. I have been spamming games on her jungle for months and she’s a better brand. I highly recommend don’t knock it until you try it

i mean, 3:15 is quicker than 99% of players clear at below diamond elo with the jungler of their choice.
