Good job. I'd be real happy with how nice you fixed that property up. I've never seen one of those here on the other side of the pond in the states (I'm in the mountains of North Carolina). Seems like it would be great for a rural property where you don't need a tractor. Or a good companion to a tractor on a larger property. I mow about 10 acres on my property. To different standards of course, some annually and some weekly and everything in between. Intentionally not mowing some areas regularly for pollinator/small game habitat, for example. I am looking for something to mow weird areas, steep, small, wet, or just hard to get to. Was watching videos about Grillo walking tractors and found your video. Thanks for posting it.

Hi and thank you for your comment, I apologize for the delay in responding!
Thank you, I really appreciate that! these honestly are fantastic little machines that are incredibly versatile and often get overlooked. I know over here there are numerous brands that manufacture and offer similar pieces of equipment, I'm not sure about availability on your side of the pond (Which is beautiful by the way, I have family in SC and we often travel up to NC to visit my aunts family in Appalachia and Boone county) but I know that Iseki and I believe Stiga have something similar.
The biggest plus point for this is that it is low impact on the ground so does not churn up the grass or dirt and is a very narrow access machine, yet it has the capability of something much larger. It allows you to perform jobs that would once of required a small tractor and mulcher but with the access capabilities and delicate nature of a ride-on lawn mower!
I have owned and operated various other types of brushcutting and mulching machines and once I purchased this, I sold the lot! I absolutely love it and the capabilities of the machine are incredible, I will be posting another video fairly soon of a project I worked on where the area we were cutting was around 5ft tall in most places! It just seems to eat whatever you throw at it.
Previous equipment that I owned seemed to have certain things that they were good at but were not able to cope with everything, such as my pedestrian flail mowers. They were fantastic for brush such as bracken, nettle's etc but could not cope with things like long grass or bramble as it just used to choke the flail drum so I had to take multiple pieces of equipment to one job in order to complete it, whereas the Grillo there has not been a single thing I have tried to cut with it where it let me down!
Thank you again for your kind words and comments.
      Take care
      Josh

Got a 7.18 last year. Great machine but not 4 wheel. Most important thing is how cool they look

Hi Colin, Thankyou for watching and your comment. I could not agree more, I honestly think they are incredible little machines. They do exactly what they are made for and even the lower end models such as my 7.18 are still incredibly capable and versatile machines, It still amazes me what they are able to munch through!
The 4WD addition is helpful but not necessary, honestly i think the only time you really need it is when working steep banks or really wet/boggy conditions but to be honest I probably use my 2wd more than the 4 as with the diff lock, the 2wd still is very capable even on the banks and in the wet.
The biggest benefit i find with the 4wd is the turn radius. i find the 2wd when on a hard turn often understeers terribly whereas on the 4wd its nowhere near as bad so when working in tight areas the 4wd is much more maneuverable.
I hope you enjoy it and it looks after you!
      Stay safe, Be lucky!
      Josh

@@jburrco3761 Thank you. Im thinking of getting one next year as im struggling with my zero turn mower when the grass is too long and wet. The Grillo looks like it would at least keep the grass down.

      Hi Darren
Honestly mate, these are fantastic! I have a new video coming soon of a site clearance I did with this machine, the overgrowth was unreal, around 4-6ft tall of course thistle, grass, bracken, bramble… you name it, it was in there!
This machine handled it like a champ!
They are versatile enough that you can use them for many mowing situations and they leave a pretty decent finish, even on grass. Sure they don't leave it quite as nice as say a tri-blade mulch deck but they certainly leave it tidy!
I would highly recommend them to anyone!
I don’t think you would be disappointed mate!
