If the df’s didn’t have the lace cover they would be soooo fire!!! I love high cut boots so I went with the df’s but I def like how the low cut looks a little better with the laces being exposed

Hey Noah! Great video, I'm looking for cleats to suite wide feet. I've had the mercurial vapors but they run far too narrow and have been hurting my ankle. I'm looked into these cleats, the NB 442 V2, Tiempos, and the class copa mundials, what are your thoughts?
I'd say they're a perfect spectrum of classic --> modern leather boots with the Tiempo as the most modern feeling and Copas as the most classic. All 3 should be a great fit for wider feet 🤝 It's just up to you what type of feel you want!
I just got the boots and per usual, am really excited. This is my first time getting boots that aren’t academy or club, is it worth it, like is there a very big difference?

I am a keeper and got these because I thought that since they are meant for multidirectional movement and are very comfy, they would be good. Is there any cleat that fits like phantom venom elite ? Those fit me perfect length and width wise but phantom gt and gx are too wide even a half size down, like it leaves a bunch of bulk on my shooting area , do you guys think I should try mecurial vapor 15 or any other recommendations?

A bit of a silly question. As you said, simply pulling the laces makes the whole lacing system tighter. Do you know how to untighten the laces? I found it very difficult to untighten the lower parts of the lacing due to the cover being in the way. Thanks!
I just stick my finger under the Ghost Laces and pull on the laces 🤔

Just get the AG version. It might be a different story if you play half and half on FG and AG, or predominantly play on FG, but if you mostly play on AG, just get the AG one

I want to get these, I’m from the UK so we have mostly muddy pitches, with this being gripknit do you think these will get trashed? Just cautious with cleaning them as I know they will not look as good once really dirty as they are a sock like material lol
If you're playing on muddy pitches, any boot is going to get dirty mate! I wouldn't worry too much about it and just pick which boots fit you the best first 🤝 To be fair you could always get the black colorway too - it will show less wear

Hey man I know I’m kinda late, I just wanted to ask, do these have a better fit and comfortable fit more than the gt2? I got blisters from the gt2 in js abt 2 days and I js ordered these to replace them and I’m kinda worried
1000% better than the GT2 in my opinion

That the sole of the phantom gx is so flexible, does it have any reason or positive point? And what would be the difference between a sole as flexible as the phantom versus a mercurial that is much more rigid, especially in the middle area of the sole? Thank you
It does! The midfoot isn't super flexible, the plate is just MORE flexible than a lot of other things on the market. It's by design to give you a nice free-flowing sensation on feet 👍🏼 Mercs are more rigid for sure
@@NoahCavanaugh Thank you very much for the answer, the phantom is not a speed boot like the mercurial but as a striker or winger will the phantom serve to have a good start and speed? I don't want the mercurial because I would like to have more grip and a free sensation but I would like to continue having speed.

I don't clean my boots very often mate, unless they're covered in mud. I just use water and a towel.

It is, but I wouldn't recommend it if you have CRAZY wide feet. If that's the case, go for a Predator Accuracy+ or an Adler Yatagarashu 🔥

Whenever i wear them they hurt the bottom of my feet. Because of ghost lacing I have trouble trying to loosen the up. Any advice as to how I can get them less tight. I have only worn them a few times so they aren't fully broken into.
I'd say really try and get your finger underneath the lacing system so you have at least 2 of the lace "crossovers" undone before putting your foot in. That way you can tighten them as much (or as little) as you want! 🤝
