Very well put with the word "Sadly". One example of why is when he said "Blowing chunks?!" On the episode "Whitacre vs Washington". And another is the episode "Mendoza vs Saucedo" when he said in a low tone voice and frown, "Mendoza family 252, Saucedo family--got to get some points."
@"supersaver87"[& everybody else] here, yes, back then, this 2,000's "Family Feud" game show had late Mr. Louie Anderson as its previous host just as his former studio announcer there was Mr. Burton Richardson!
Was this the only episode that happened? Because on this season's premiere, all Burton said was exactly aa described. "Today on "Family Feud"--From Diamond Bar, California, They're the Rowleys! And from Washington DC, meet the Sheil family!" Just like that.
Michael Canter is the cheapskate executive producer at that time. It was still $10000 prize but no extra money won from main game like the Dawson & Combs era. This show never got put on cbs nor abc in the years of Anderson, Karn, nor Hurley and had to settle for smaller networks.
Louie Anderson wasn't the worst host ever, Richard Karn is worse. And I personally love the set on this version of Family Feud, kinda wish they didn't change it when Karn hosted.
Same here, I also liked the board with the flickering lights and how Louie Anderson made his apperance (even though people claimed he isn't a good host).
Oh yes, the entrance was VERY cool! A lot neater than simply walking from one side of the set to the other...too bad none of the other Feuds have done something like this.
RIP Louie Anderson (1953 - 2022)
This episode from the Louie Anderson era of Family Feud is aired on September 15, 2000. The teams are the Sosa Family and the Lamping Family.
this must be from Season 2 (2000-2001)

I had no idea the intro introduced each family member individually at some point during Louie's tenure.
I actually forgot lol

I know Steve Harvey hosts family feud 2013 and 2020

I agree, this was a very good set; I especially liked the blue eggcrate displays.

Although they should do that.
@@cutemimi25 no FF host looks kind of very good until Kristy Swanson takes over the hosting duty
Wow this sucks, I only liked Dawson and Harvey
