Thanks for the demo! Just what I was looking for. Also, toilet bowl cleaner works really well, it doesn't spread much since it's a gel. I've had decent success kind of blending it out with water. Also, also - hydrogen peroxide neutralizes bleach by breaking down the bleach molecule leaving you with salt and water. If you don't use peroxide rinse the shirt really well because you could be left with residue on the fabric.
That is such a great idea. Especially if you were sourcing & testing shirt suppliers. Thanks! Good call on the hydrogen peroxide, imho. With the amount of bleach, the concentrations of modern bleach/ hydrogen peroxide. This shouldn't be a big issue. But, it should always be noted that mixing the bleach X hydrogen peroxide could create chlorine gas. Which is highly dangerous ☠️ . It's just better safe than creating an accidental, self-induced chemical attack in your house or studio, right?
What is the mix/process for creating the Out White Brite “paint”? The color of White Brite is closer to what I’m looking for than bleach but I’d like to have some control over the shape of the coloration lines and am going to try to do a manual painting of the edge if the standard dip dye doesn’t give me a decent line.
Man I wish I could think of a way to do that. When I use OWB it’s usually more like a paste so it’s harder to control. But maybe if you’re doing a bit stencil it could work.

Fantastic tip I should have mentioned that. And I’ve gotta try that gel!

Any thoughts on how white brite might work with a stencil on fabric? Would that help with the lines a bit?
