I love how you suggested to do one chapter at a time to understand the context better. That makes more sense to me than just doing it Willy nilly (like I was doing!)
I’m so glad!! There’s value in doing both! The fast version gives you great overview, seeing how it all pulls together as one unified text. Slowly gives the context to understand the valuable lessons each section is meant to share. Both are important!
That is such a beautiful set but like you I am long winded. I think they make beautiful gifts especially for newbies…to guide them thru without being overwhelming 🙏🏾♥️
Aw, thanks! It’s because I recorded once but the entire thing was blurry and I didn’t realize it until I was editing last night. I had to get dressed and record again in a hurry! Lol oops. That’ll teach me not to check for focus.
I plan on doing it by books of the bible and then do the chapters by each individual verse. That way i can dive deeper to get an overall view of the books. Saying that, i will start with Jude 😁
I just subscribed to your channel. I am trying to study the Bible and also Bible mapping. I was raised a JW but at the age of 16 quit. I’m now 53 years old and have read the Bible twice through and was lost in some of it. I was wondering where I can buy this cheaply. I am on disability and am rather short on funds. ThisJames Method looks like it will help in understanding the Bible. My daughter gifted me a Bible dictionary and concordance. I’ve watched some videos on mapping and I have to say I’m enjoying this very much.
Oh wow! Thanks so much for subscribing!! For the verse mapping I’d just screenshot the image of the model as the books are just the explanation and a blank version of that repeated over and over. You could just as easily keep these notes in a journal. I have another video on how to study the Bible free - it’s labeled for beginners but it has lots of free resources mentioned! We are going through the Bible verse by verse under the “live” tab. I’d love for you to join us! The ones we’ve done are recorded there. We are only on Genesis 6 so we haven’t gotten far! Yes! Book by book, verse by verse. That’s how I’m teaching through the Bible. You can deep dive any verses you think would be great!
