I love how they always play the school song of the opposing team. they probably don’t do Michigan though for obvious reasons. Them playing Sons of Marshall back in September brought tears to my eyes.
If you watched their pregame performance with michigan present, they did play michigans school song and they're supposed to as a sign of respect to the opposing team regardless if its michigan or not
My selection for Marching Band of the day today, November 12, 2024 is THE Ohio State University Marching Band!!! The Best Damn Band in the Land has had an performances that have included the space station!!! They have also been doing some ice skating for the hockey intermissions and have really made sure they retain the number one marching band spot. The inspiration that they have given the squad and the state is unmeasurable! Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉😎🎶🥁🏈🎉🎉🎉
the band members standing on the sidelines - are those like the overflow for the pregame? Like, all of the pregame stuff takes a certain number of players and the rest have to watch from the sidelines or something like that? I was in the sideline percussion during all 3 of my years in the Marching Thunder and was never part of the pregame stuff. I always watched from the stands.
I like the respect of playing the opposing team’s fight song. But the booing is classless. I am a UT fan and the Pride does the same thing and our fans are even worse.
INCOMPARABLE!
I never tire of watching this band! TBDBITL!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
We obliterated Purdue
I am a huge fan of the OSU band and 110.

@@KurtVonSpeyer This is absolutely correct. No matter which school visits, they learn it and play it pregame, including Michigan.
They do Michigan's fight song, and even form the Block "M." It's the one time you'll hear that stadium loudly boo TBDBITL, lol.
They do ❌ichigan the crowd just boos louder than ever!

Those are the alternates, yes. They will often do the banners/images/flags during halftime and certain special pregames as well.
Boiler DOWN!
Go Bucks!
Why don't they show the band on TV when they show the game?
We want to see the band!
I want to see the video from the cable camera.
