thankyou! this if the first video I've seen that doesn't require a ton of extra loading equipment. I knew there had to be an easy way!

You’re welcome! I used to use a kayak rack all the time until I got the kayak in this video which is much wider. Didn’t work well with the rack. Then I realized I didn’t need a rack at all. Just the cross bars and it works just as well as a rack.

I've watched other videos and they say not to use ratchet straps as they can do damage🤔what is your opinion on this please

I’ve heard the same thing but I personally have never had a problem with straps damaging my kayaks. I can see a scenario of kayaks being damaged if tightened too much and left strapped down during the heat of the day. Seen pictures of kayaks that melted in the back of trucks (I try to tighten straps without over tightening and be aware of the heat just in case). I think sometimes the type of plastic plays a role in the kayak being damaged. Thanks for bringing this up though. May have to look into doing a video of alternative ways of securing a kayak without using ratchet straps.

good Video buddy. I need new spots to fish, Bush wildlife is getting boring. Lincoln Lake sucks without a boat.
    Suggestions please

Best parks with lots of bank fishing I’ve fished in are Bee Tree, Suson, Horseshoe Lake in Carondelet Park, and Jefferson Lake in Forest Park. Parks I’ve heard good things about but have yet to try are Creve Coeur, Tilles, and Spanish Lake.

Does anyone load their boat bow side up? I don't want to dent my bow.
