Now, it may be redundant to do ALL Hexen tracks since many tracks had the alternate version where it would essentially be the original, but starting in the middle. Some examples: Bright Crucible --> Dark Crucible Guardian of Fire --> Griffin Chapel Guardian of Ice --> Unused Track Guardian of Steel --> Deathwind Chapel Shadow Wood --> Darkmere
Great remix of this bleak song... While Korax may not have been the hardest Serpent Rider to beat, his theme was excellent, and he was intimidating, firing those blasts of every projectile in the game. The opening to this level - the fade in on that bridge of impaled corpses - was chilling for the time. Excellent music!
Great one! I love Luke's covers! I like the way you keep that old-school spirit classics spirit in your covers! Your approach to covering is so unique! Thank you so much for your output!
Awesome remix! You really bring this track to life. This was one of the better songs off Hexen, but you made it more fun to listen to. Especially the second half when it gets more intense with the drums and instruments. I know John Romero wanted Kevin to write uneasy music for the game, but I feel his direction steered the soundtrack too far away from anything upbeat or exciting. Heretic had the better music to listen to while blasting away enemies. River of Fire for example! I've been dying to hear someone switch up Hexen's OST like what you did here. Do you care if people use your Hexen remixes in TH-cam videos? Like in a review talking about the game with this in the background?
My title for this one: The Mind of a Tyrant Well... it's a rather impressive song, definitely more fluid than the original. Possibly quite a bit darker and more tense than the original as well, and I think that's definitely a good thing given the circumstance at hand. My main problem with the song is this, though: it seems to me like it's missing the... impact, the power, the epicness that a final boss battle theme should have (in case you don't know, this music plays in the final boss fight of Hexen). I'm not a musician, but the simplest fix I can recommend would be: make the background vocals in certain parts of the song a little more audible, and replace that strange bass- type instrument that acts as the core for most of the song (and is most audible at the beginning) with something that is low pitch, but a little more... beefy. Piano would be my best recommendation. Other than that, this is pretty sweet stuff, and I REALLY like what you've done with many of the other instruments and sounds used. Fun fact: out of all the final bosses in the Heretic and Hexen series, Korax (the final boss of Hexen) is the only one with a unique battle theme that isn't used anywhere else in the game.
My favorite of the 90's first person shooter final bosses.

More Hexen! More Hexen! More Hexen! Yay!
Lol
3:03 onward is some of the smoothest music I've ever heard.
