Dude just do the Ribs on your smoker! You're losing a lot of flavor by NOT doing that. They are amazing how you made them but they would be MORE amazing if you hit them with some smoke.
I made these the other day and I caught my dad bragging to his friend about how good the ribs I made were. Said he's never tasted ribs that were more delicious than this, and thought I bought some magical bread. I sat at the men's table that night. Thanks Sam!
I didnt even notice your low energy but thanks for your honesty and openness. You always speak frankly and that's what got me hooked on your channel. Never tried to be a culinary genius and thats refreshing. :-)
I lost my dad to cancer last October and ever since I found your channel a month after he died, I keep up with every video you make because you remind me so much of him. Thank you Sam!! You'll never know how much you make me think of him when I watch your stuff.
Sam, you may never personally read this, but your videos show such a passion for not only cooking, but just a general love for life and the people around you. Your attitude literally inspires me to want to cook better meals. I want to say thank you for all that you do, and may peace be with you!
I made these a couple days ago...I highly recommend them. Easy to make, easy rub, easy baking, easy sauce. Follow the instructions and you will not go wrong! Thanks Sam!!!
your honesty is inspiring no lie. I am loving my dad all the more these days as we have open discussions about our relationship and really appreciating your channel at the moment for this reason.
Thank you for the mention Sam. 💚, Alan, Jethro & Bucky P.S. We all love your videos & will always be supporters well beyond your 1 million subscriber goal.
I'm newish to Sam, so these older videos keep coming up, but my god.. this video was so satisfying. The therapy session, bones coming out, onion rings frying. When I'm dying of whatever, I want this video on repeat.
Wow. What a beautiful spin on a cheap sandwich. This recipe is gold. Fried gold. I recently subscribed Sam, and I have to admit that I binged your entire video library in a couple days. Your recipes are outstanding. Your energy is great. You get excited about lots of things, but there's no 'food network' faux energy to your process. And that my friend is okay. You've got a real, down to earth cooking show. And I for one love it. A huge thank you to you and everyone involved. Oh, before I go. I tried the corn. My lord. Delicious.
Sam, i've been watching for while now and have tried numerous recipes. I cook a lot but tend to stick to particular flavors and styles. Your channel has helped me expand on my style and everyone has said your recipes are amazing! (mostly due to my perfect preparation) So creative but yet, so easy. You have the best channel on TH-cam, bar none.
I've been subbed since like 32k subscribers. There isn't a single channel I watch on YT, food related or otherwise I watch more than you. Your attitude and personality is perfect because it's real. This is why you have the sub count you have and why it's growing pretty damn rapidly. Don't change a thing Sam. You're the GOAT.
We're all different but are connected as AMERICAN. Now if only people remembered that. Too many want to tear it down cause things that happened over 150 years ago
Parabola don’t understate what happens back then it was wrong, yet I think a big part of the problem is people like to dwell on things that happened in the past (myself included). But what this does is build resent which prevent many you from doing anything else to get over the issue, and it sucks but almost no one will ever get back what they lost when they were done wrong. It’s a sad truth, we can’t undo the past, and I can’t get the years back that I feel we’re stolen from me due to others, but you can’t get that back, all you can do now use the past to educate you so that it may never occur again, or you don’t let go of it and while your resenting everything and using it to prevent growth, you lose even more time that you could be using for many other pro active ways...time is precious and you can’t get it back everyone has been screwed over, this is just one of those situations on a much larger scale and it’s so wrong and unfair. But all we can do is move forward in positive ways that will prevent something similar from ever happening and spread peaceful knowledge to everyone, then we can move in heal and never have to worry about such a thing again. -I apologize it’s a rant but it’s something relevant to today and I think about it often...
@@riversaesthetic3344 that's my point. Because bad was done in the past then that negates everything that wasn't bad. @parabola good to see there still is some sense in this world, all the people running around and screaming in the streets about race, are the racists, I know that might be shocking but it turns out all these people who love to talk about race and make everything racial are the people trying to rip the fabric of a multi-cultural society. The folly of man is they know not what they do, they may have good intentions but all that comes out in the wash is dividing people and hatred.
I made this tonight for dinner and Sam, let me tell ya, I've never had a slider like this.. the Cole slaw, onion rings, and pork come together like a symphony of of flavor that I cannot explain.. thank you!!
I would pay roughly 250$ for both of them at this moment. So jealous Also, we don't mind astro although I will admit when you yell at him its hilarious
A lot of people are too damn sensitive it’s sad. I love your channel. The food, the fights lol, the cursing all of it. Great cooking Sam! And great job Max too 👌🏽
I gata say THIS was or is my favourite episode and the sliders are mouth watering. This channel has now become my everyday must watch now!! Thank you 🙏🏽🫶🏼👌
Your energy is always somewhat low until that first bite. That's one of my favorite things about this channel. You're not hopping all over the place like a coked up toddler. You're videos rock Sam. Tell Max he's grounded and do your thing homie 🤘
Thank you Sam. I stumbled across your youtube channel late at night and now I am addicted to your videos. I watch an episode every night before I sleep AFTER my evening prayer.
Right? And by the way, the “cole” in coleslaw comes from “cole crops,” a group of veggie crops from the Crucifer or Brassica family, including: cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, radish, mustard, Brussels sprouts, collards, etc. Best group of stinky veggies on earth.
I’m late seeing this video, but I just had to offer a comment: I’m 52 yrs old, born and raised in Texas, and *I LOVE BROCCOLI SLAW!!!* I also loved Sam’s take on a Texas accent, and his recommendation to “Jethro in Texas” to give broccoli slaw a chance! 🤣 I agree! Broccoli sprouts are also damn good! (Do the neighbors ever bring Astro inside???)
Sam, I just discovered your channel, this week & I can’t get enough! I use to cook, professionally, a long time, ago & you make me want to get back into the biz, again. I’ve been considering opening a little sandwich shop, of sorts, here in S. Georgia & several of your ideas & recipes would definitely come into play. Kudos to you & the gang for these videos!👍
Ok! We just made this at work tonight for dinner to the best of our ability. Next time we will do it better after learning a few lessons the hard way. For example our rib bones didn’t fall out as easily and we made one hell of a mess out of the onion ring breading. I mean it was the first attempt for us lol. Sam Style Rib sandwich is the best thing ever, honestly I wouldn’t even mess with the traditional one. We did add some famous Dave’s spicy pickles but I can’t say enough about this rib slider it’s awesome and we will make it again and again. Thanks Jethro!
Always love you.. energy or not.. It's 1:44AM and I am still programming so that I can get my work finished, then make my son's football game tomorrow, teach my 16 year old to parallel park before going to his driver test, and get ready for my 7 year old's birthday on Friday and then Halloween festivities the next day. Energy is relative my friend... I've got you in the background to get ideas for the cookouts and parties that we have all the time to top it all off.. Thanks Sam!
Sam and Max, for me, 30+ minutes is a bit too long--15 is about right unless it is a complicated recipe. The food demonstrations are great, and that is what I love to see, and yes, I do cook regularly from your channel (I make every meal from scratch every day--but that includes leftovers, too). Love you all!

Hey Sam, thanks so much for using our Pro-Series 5.5" Boning knife. We love your videos. Keep up the amazing work. Energy is just perfect...ya gotta be you. Cheers!
This must be in top three best videos! That was fantastic. Btw Sam, your energy is just fine. Loved the honesty and love lessons, then the RIBS! Niiiiiiice.
For 45 years I thought I hated cole slaw until I accidentally had it on a pulled pork sandwich. Now I love it. I just made Sam’s anti-Texas broccoli slaw and it’s amazing. Well done Sam and Max and Astro.
Thank you for putting yourself out there for our entertainment pleasures. I almost shot my beer out my nose when you maced yourself. That’s some great energy
I made these this afternoon FML so freaking delicious. Everything was so on point that there was literally nothing leftover. We love your channel Sam from San Antonio Texas!!!!
The coleslaw and onion ring slider looked so damn good. I'm going tho have to make one if those myself. Thanks Sam and max for creating my favorite cooking channel on youtube. As well as the had work you do. Sam you are the greatest sandwich/burger creater on youtube. Thanks again love ya guys. Road to a mill you will be there in no time.
Love this guy! I just discovered him. I am Canadian, and I could listen him for hours. Wouldn't care what he was talking about.I am working on being vegan, but I still love him.
At 27:02 you can see the cartilage that wasn't removed from the ribs. St. Louis cut will have more meat but you now have to account for that little piece that doesn't come out when you de-bone the rib. I might use the meatiest baby backs I could find just to avoid that cartilage.
I'm loving the N.A.P.S shirt. Love the D.A.R.E inspiration, even though D.A.R.E is a joke and I'm pretty sure every "dare graduate" ends up trying at least one drug.
We would wrap ours in plastic wrap after seasoning and THEN cover with foil. The cling film sealed in the steam and the foil protected the ribs and made them doubly succulent and fall apart good. We made smoked cherry barbeque sauce.
There's just no way NOT to love these videos. Found the channel about a week ago and it instantly became my new watch-while-eating-channel. :) Keep it up, love you guys!
I have fell asleep many times watching your videos. Not sure its a bad thing though, my TV has your videos playing all day and when i Nap, my dreams are filled with great food!
