Have you ever had a 58mm espresso machine? My current one is and many claim it is better. Been eyeing the Lucca A53 and also the Luca x58. I like that the A53 is dual boiler and it’s smaller. The x58 looks nice, but it’s bigger and also is an HX with PID, which same claim won’t really be as good as a double boiler. Thoughts?
So I just got a Specialita to pair with my LUCCA A53. How hard was it to dial in your grinder? I’m still working on getting the Specialita how I like it.
I LOVE it. Still love it! super easy to refill water with the front loading reservoir, has the option to plum in to the water line for when we leave our apartment, easy to pull shots and program the settings to specific beans, you can also change the water temp for when you’re pulling shots with lighter or darker roast beans. I thought I would need a machine with a built in shot timer but totally not necessary at all, I use my acaia scale to time the shot and also the weight of the shot as it’s pulling and it works like a dream. Also it has super low profile so it fits perfectly under our kitchen cabinets with room to store mugs on top, etc! I recommend!

@haydenbaldwin7453 even the ones with the front loading tanks can be modified to have direct plumbing. If you have a good tech he can do it for you.
