They think they are above that. Entitlement. I worked with a temp like that. She thought she was better, until the Drs started complaining to my boss about how she spoke to me. Needless to say she learned because they never used her again.
Yeah, but then again some people with dye allergies wear a white or grey dress (usually grey to not “outshine” the bride) to weddings so maybe Donita thought she had an allergy but wore white instead of grey.
Did Donita really think she could treat someone like scum on the bottom of their shoes and they would happily jump up and down on her order? It makes you wonder if these types actually have gray matter from where they grow their hair.
Logic would dictate that if a woman is wearing a wedding gown and everyone else is wearing formal attire....that she's the bride. Donita is absolutely out of her damn mind for what she did....everything bad that she did.
And remember, these stories originate in Japan, where the marriage and the wedding are two separate things. The marriage is filed at the courthouse and is legal; the wedding is optional, some couples have a wedding, some don't.
Phone: 255 missed calls Me: let me guess it went into chaos... Donita: Thank God, you finally replied Me: cause 256 missed calls might actually be annoying...what do you want?!? Bonita: You have to negotiate with your husband and make this all go away somehow! Please I'm begging you! Me: every choice has a consequence, you are on you're own ta-ta ( shows devil emoji and blocks)
Not everyone is engaged to the CEO, but there are still things you can do. Screenshot, screenshot, screenshot, send copies to HR regarding all this open hostility in the workplace, plus an attempted assumption of authority that binch has no right to claim, and BCC yourself all copies of all such information & responses. (Also, let HR know that you will be engaging an employment rights lawyer if this nonsense doesn't stop immediately & fully.)

I worked in one that did that back in the 90’s. It was really sexist and the men had the women do it rather than hire a janitor. They also had the women make the coffee and serve it. But most of these stories come from Asia- might still be common there.

If you like being imaginative here is how the voices sound! Darren, Australian accent. Donita Karen accent : Veronica Laid back stressed voice It starts with Donita (A bully shortened to D) messaging Veronica (shortened to V) and goes on about how they shouldn’t have hired her as she doesn’t even do basic things. V replies that in the contract they ALL signed to clean the toilets that it was her turn to clean the toilets this week! Not Her’s. V says that everyone does their own things, it’s easier for all of them! And then D thinks because V is a part timer, she’s nobody important. Then D basically yaps about V is dumber (and goes on insulting her) and then tells her to go do the work for her. V responds by saying some higher-ups gave her some duties and told V that it’s D’s responsibility to do that job this week. (D scrubbed the toilets) That night: Darren (shortened to Da) asks V about how she’s doing and tells her about D, the new employee, he says he got a report from the manager about how D is super rude and harsh to V because she thinks she’s better. Da tells V about D and how she’s a bad person overall. (Da and V are engaged) They talk, and V tells Da not to worry about all this, because it’s ok and Da reminds V that if she needs it, he’ll be there for her. 2 Weeks later: D messages V that it’s the C.E.O’S wedding in 2 days time, and D tells V that she will be on phone duty, but V says that messages will be going to voicemail and the company will be closed. D thinks that V will be having nothing to do, and she also again thinks she is superior to her V refuses, but D persists. Day of the wedding: D is confused by V being at the wedding, and how she is in a white dress, only the bride should be in one (guess who’s the bride...) and D says how V is walking in the direction how the bride walks, D is baffled by all of this. D plans to stop her from “ruining the wedding” and then pours red wine onto her white dress. And D thinks she will get a prize. 30 minutes later: V asks where D got the wine from and D says it was hers, a gift for the C.E.O but V replies with her dress was borrowed from someone, and D is delusional again. V says that D wasn’t invited to the wedding and that it was a small wedding meant for higher-ups in the company. 30 minutes later: D says that she didn’t know V was Da’s (The C.E.O’s) fiancée, V says that she was only taking part time until her engagement to Da was announced. D says that dress was a new design by Da’s mom, a famous fashion designer and how the release was supposed to be launched after they got married. And the media is here to film but are angry, they say if the wedding gets cancelled, they can't shoot their shot on the dress. D begs V to come back, but V refuses as the dress is now drenched in wine so it’s unusable, and that she's with Da’s mom at the hospital as she was so shocked she fainted! And V is saying she’ll leave everything to Da. That night: D gets V to reply by having 255 MISSING CALLS?!!? And then D said that Da told her she’d be responsible for all of the costs of the wedding that’s been cancelled. And that he will sue her for compensation for everything! D begs V to help her because she may lose her job, but V says that’s already happening. D again begs V to help her because of her position and still is delusional about V helping her. A few days later: Da tells V that the dress can be saved, and that Da’s mum is doing better and Da tells V that they can do the wedding abroad and still make it the same, and V says it sounds amazing! V compliments Da by telling him he’s the best! Afterward: Lawyers dealt with V, and she did have some awareness that she’d done something wrong so accepted her firing. But not for compensation, she insisted she couldn’t pay, and she was already in tons of debt from a bad habit! V was also fined criminal charges and D is now drowning in debt, so much so she can't get money anywhere, however her parents agreed to help and now she will be forced to work until all the money is payed back. And now D is working lots of jobs and is hated by everyone. THE END!
So, Donita became Veronica for the wedding, hmmm ...? PROOF READ!!! I know these stories go round and round - but if you're going to change the names, make sure you change every instance of the original name coming up.
Ignoring people like Donita is NOT the way to deal with them...they feel self-righteous and ESCALATE!
WINE is drink which can be poured over someone, WHINE is Donita doing because her desk hasn't been cleaned.
Does Donita need some CHEESE with her WINE then my cat wines at me all the time and I always ask her you need some CHEESE with that wine of yours
Anyone who show up uninvited to the ceo wedding and ruin the bride dress should face consequences and taken to court
You know you messed up when even a loanshark won't help you
If her manager knows Donita is bullying her co-workers, isn’t part of their job to set her straight?
yeah, one would think. at least every manager I've ever had wouldn't put up with it once they found out.
Yes it should be their JOB but some people like looking the other way
what is it with all these ADULTS who don't know doing something is a crime.

It's called stupidity. Dunning-Kruger effect, anyone?
The red whine is exactly what Donita is after being left red-faced by the sheer stupidity of her actions.
A great story again loved it.
*255* missed calls is _bordering_ on harrassment?
You’d think the wedding dress would be a clue that she’s obviously the BRIDE
Not all brides wanna wear white.
Ummm, that was clearly explained.
Too much of that white can cause one to lack common sense 🤔

OK, the revelation of Donita's addiction was a surprise, and it also explains part of her behavior.
I'm sitting here wondering about Donita saying, "you're the CEO's wife." But at that time they hadn't been married yet.
They probably filed the marriage documents before having a ceremony.

I'm sorry, "Debt from a COCAINE HABIT"?!? On TOP of the wedding fiasco?! I knew this woman was a piece of work, but DAMN!
Debt
Unfortunately, if she gets away with now, she’ll do it to the next new person. Creates a toxic workplace.
