Well that "pets are like their owners" thingy really does suits Gale and Tara pretty well. Even their manner of speech somewhat feels similar ngl. Love them.
Tressym is actually the name for the whole species of winged kitties.
I’m obsessed the second I knew of them.
Unfortunately my ancient laptop cannot handle the game so I have to be content watching vids of.

there's also a dead spectator in Act 3; I was really hoping you could bring it to Tara!
There's no Beholders in the game, just spectators.

Tbf; when I heard her say Beholder; I got an image of her stalking an unsuspecting beholder and devouring it to a dungeon trekking adventuring party's horror.

domesticated sphinxes. instead of "answer me these riddles three." its "milk, fish, tuna. please."
Tressym are anything but domesticated, and implying they are will get you scratched, bitten and your shoes pooped in :P.
In the tabletop game they have an Int value in the average human range and are definitely smart enough to learn to read (although writing is usually beyond them) and understand multiple humanoid languages.
In one campaign we had a somewhat dim-witted wood elf ranger accidentally adopt one. She was definitely the brains of the outfit and the player ended up mostly interacting with the game through the "pet".

If you rob her, she will call the guards and they will magically spawn on the roof and start searching for you lol
I like this way more than the conversation with Gale present.

I'm almost positive that Tara was named after the hero cat who saved their young owner from a dog attack around a decade ago.
I mean... i fought the Addled Frog in the swamp.. i can see this "kitten" hunting a Beholder for supper.
Tressym aren't actually cats at all, they're elemental beings of pure magic. They happen to look and act like cats but they're a lot closer to djinn than cats.

Lol, I bought the game, I'm free to play however I want. I'm gonna do multiple runs anyway, without reloading saves too. You have fun with your game tho, however you play👍🏻

Back when the X-Box was new I tried that with KotoR decisions... Never run out of space they said... Ran out like 1/2-2/3 of the way in on the first game installed on the system.
@@Sword4Hire coming from D&D where the most memorable moments are your spectacular 1 rolls, it feels wrong to save scum in BG3, because it basically is DND, not only that, it's much more forgiving on fails as you can just revive any teammate for 200 gold with that skeleton guy
