Dust sans killed everyone because he needed a way to defeat the human. Turning him into unstable yet sad existence 3. Insanity lost emotions because of an experiment making him deranged and cruel. All of them have 1 thing in common, they became like this due to of 1 reason, to defeat the human

insanity didn't initially become like that to stop the human, it was something that happened long before frisk fell, and completely unrelated to frisk
