I bet this was more fun with more people than it would have been by yourself. At least when they kept going back, everyone could laugh about it. Good spirits.
Look Alfred, you don't need to be ashamed. If anything, you should be proud. For it shows that he has a pure, peaceful, and calm soul. Something many people spend entire life times in spiritual studies and never achieve.
Great job you guys and gal!! Alfred is truly gifted and didn't even know it !! Lol. Amazing how fast pigs grow isn't it!!??!! They are gonna love the new area as much as the old muddy area. !! You 3 totally made moving pigs .... an adventure to behold !! Lmao. Ty for the great laughs this morning!!!
@@raomuhammadd I’m not sure about that, she doesn’t seem to want to have anything to do with them when he takes her to go say hello while he’s feeding them.
I hope your next video shows highlights of some of the beginning stages of them exploring their new area. I really enjoy seeing how animals experience changes like this.
When my grandfather had his few pigs, he had them in a low fence. The year he replaced the fence, he took it all down at once and the pigs never left their plot. They're smart animals. I'm sure your pigs will enjoy their new grassy spot!
Alfred, the buddy we all need! We should all try to emulate the friendship between you guys. Every neighborhood or social circle should try to include people with varying skills and interests. This makes all of our lives much easier.
Thinking Alfred has that magic touch, well at least more Dr. Doolittle like, lol, and Ms. Vermont is showing some promise, lol. A good time was had by all, except the piggos might miss their wallow. Thanks Morgan for taking us along, it was pretty funny. See you soon!
Pigs are such funny creatures. I still remember watching a neighbours sow give birth to five or so piglets. Whilst giving birth is always messy, those piglets were such adorable little creatures. Isabel was such a trooper. And Alfred is hilarious.
Love to see the pigs move! Thank you! Next time you now know how to set up the move in the proper order. Feed them less food, earlier, the day before the move. The day of, take the food troughs out and put them where you want them in the new pen. Load them up with food. Then open up the shortest fence line between the pigs and the food. Look at the direction the last pig ran in the end. You were trying to herd them into a narrow area with fences on 3 sides and tall stuff on the 4th side. It looked to them like they were being herded into a tiny box. Just a thought!
Speaking of huge pigs as a fellow big guy trying to cut down a bit on waste size could we get a picture of your diet for a day vlog style? Something to mix it up a bit and maybe you will have some more encouraging words for us big boys who have been struggling for a bit. 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡
Miss Vermont is buff looking like a true farmer gal. Reminds me of the joke where a new army recruit writes home about how all the work is easier than on the farm, and the other recruits are all soft etc. The letter home gets signed "Your loving daughter" Farm girls are best girls ❤
I feel so sad when they scream out from the electric shock but I know it just has to be that way. Alfred was amazing with them, I’m glad you had three on three otherwise you would’ve probably been there a little bit longer lol😅
for the future. U need big boards. When moving pigs open fence, move all their stuff a goodly ways from the gate and walk away. The y will get to new area when they feel like it. Come back a little white later and close gate, No more work needed. Now pig boards are used to get them to go onto trailers. Look for a vid on how to use them.
I know you mentioned taking a year off of pigs to get sheep; but since you have so much forest and they move so slow (And Alison loves them), why not do both?
The pigs are awesome. They hatched a plan before you got there. "Let's see how much we can confound the humans. Just for the fun of it. While we still can."
This was funny. As good as Alfred was with the pigs he did not seem to be in his element! He just looked like he wanted to splitting granite blocks, instead of being knee-deep in mud. 😄
One thing you can try with the pigs that I found worked back in my childhood days when we had pigs, is attracting them by making sort of a loud eating noise, as if there was another pig eating something. If there are any sound records of it online, maybe a Bluetooth speaker that is placed in direction where they need to go? Or the old school doing it yourself :D But worth a try on a regular day to see if they react!
Bear in mind also, that pigs can get foot rot, also known as hoof rot. Foot rot in pigs is often associated with unsanitary or wet living conditions. Foot rot is caused by specific pathogenic strains of F. necrophorum and B. melaninogenicus that gain entry through the interdigital skin. These bacteria can persist in wet soil or slurry for very long periods.
From my experience, just leave the fence open for 15 minutes so they can explore on their own and you can drive them there all alone because they already know it a bit
"They seem skeptical, but he has won their affection" I love Morgan and his hilarious commentary 🤣 You have won my heart with your deep down to earth personality ♥️ Plus the added memes here and there. You dont get enough recognition for you you do!!!
Move them more often? Or perhaps, even better, don't try to move them all at once? What I mean is have a cross over period where they have access to both areas and then start reducing how much of the old area they have access to. They seemed to REALLY want to stay in their old home so letting them, while moving where you feed them and where they can get out of the weather would encourage them to move without fuss. It'd just take longer. Of course, you WERE successful and it only took an hour to get them moved so *shrug* a success is a success. Besides, it is your first time keeping pigs and everything is a learning process. 8)
I used to move my pig out to pasture every day and back to the pen every night. I just used his food to lead him across the driveway with no containment along the way. Eventually I just gave him a larger area to live and moved his shelter. The one time he escaped I got him to follow me over 200 feet just by following the food.
The pigs know a good soul when they see it. Alfred shall forever be one with the pigs.
Alfred: "Idk, I'm not much for the farmin' really"
Also Alfred: *Pig Whisperer*
"Farming isn't my vibe..." LOL. Animals seem to love him, he's so chill.
I love that Alfred has his own jingle 🤣😂👍 Every time you say his name, I know what’s coming - My buddy Alfred! 🎤 🎶 🎵
I find I expect part of the My Buddy Alfred song everytime he's in the video or mentioned 🤣
@@deed5811 me too! And I’m always ready to burst out singing! 🤣😂
Me too , I'm ready to sing the Alfred song! Love it😊
Myy buddy alfred, he lives on down the roaaad, hes a wizard with machines, a genius in blue jeans. Lets stop and say hellooo
Miss VT is girl- next -door gorgeous! Albert has talents oozing out his ears ! Oh, hey Morgan! Love your style.
Loved seeing Miss Vermonter and her explanation of how that title is different from Miss Vermont.
Piggly wigglies living their best piggy lives! 😊 I love the idea of giving the animals a happy life and only one bad day.
And if it's done right, they never even know it's a bad day.
I absolutely love Alfred!! He is the type of friend everyone needs. And, the beauty queen is beautiful!
I bet this was more fun with more people than it would have been by yourself. At least when they kept going back, everyone could laugh about it. Good spirits.
100%!
Look Alfred, you don't need to be ashamed. If anything, you should be proud. For it shows that he has a pure, peaceful, and calm soul.
Something many people spend entire life times in spiritual studies and never achieve.
I love when you have Alfred visit. Seeing the friendship as you take on challenges is very amusing.
Awesome to see Bella in this video I went to school with her she is an amazing person!!
I’d be personally interested in seeing some sort of timelapse of the pigs clearing out that forest area
That’s a great idea!
Not surprised that the pigs responded to Alfred’s grounded, laid back vibe.
We’ve grown attached to your Buddy Alfred….always great to see friends with friends‼️
When Buddy Alfred plays a significant role in an episode, you gotta play his theme song in full!
I would like to hear the full song again.
If you call your pigs when you feed them they come when you call. You should start doing that for the future.
Sounds right. Like when he calls the ducks and the cows.
Loved this. You're awesome Morgan
Great job you guys and gal!! Alfred is truly gifted and didn't even know it !! Lol. Amazing how fast pigs grow isn't it!!??!! They are gonna love the new area as much as the old muddy area. !! 58 minutes. And now you, the people, know why herding dogs are so valuable 😅.
The whole video I was thinking , Abby would've helped
@@raomuhammadd or created mayhem!
@@raomuhammadd I’m not sure about that, she doesn’t seem to want to have anything to do with them when he takes her to go say hello while he’s feeding them.
@@raomuhammadd not sure, even herding dogs need to be trained. Abby has some instincts, but that is that
Abby is still healing
Lol, as soon as I see Alfred on the screen I automatically start singing.
Me too! 🤣 I knew I wasn't the only one.
I love Alfred..he's just one cool dude 😅
" . . . the pigness of the pig . . . " Excellent, Morgan!!
Yes ! LOL

animals are so truly fascinating to watch ~ wild or domesticated ~
Watching ya' all is very entertaining! Thanks for the show! Makes me smile.
That was awesome. Love miss Vermont. Alfred is always fun to see. I love the way you are taking back the land.
When my grandfather had his few pigs, he had them in a low fence. The year he replaced the fence, he took it all down at once and the pigs never left their plot. They're smart animals.
I'm sure your pigs will enjoy their new grassy spot!
That was fun to watch! Two years ago two of my heart valves were replaced with pig valves. I feel very closely connected to your pigs! 🐷🐷🐷
Its always a good day when you post a video Morgan

Good team work and lot’s of fun loved that 😊
Glad you enjoyed it
Alison would have sweet talked them in. Gotta appreciate all the hard work Alfred does.
The piggies are going to be very happy with their new pad.
Great videos! Belle and Alfred are nice "supporting actors"! Welcome and thank you for their input!
They have gotten huge!👍
Not gonna lie, I was hoping for the entire Alfred song😢.
maybe you could record the song from an old video.
Good job Albert the Pig Wisperer!! And thanks to Miss Vermont!!
I can see why they never have huge pig drives over thousands of miles !
It was so much fun watching this video!
That was fun. I had a few giggles. Thanks guys and especially “my friend Alfred”. Awesome.
Love the golf announcer voice. So soothing.
Alfred. Master of immovable granite & immovable wigglies.

Morgan, you have so much more confidence as a farmer. It's been fabulous watching you reach this point. And Alfred's stone wall by your barn ROCKS!

Hi
Thanks for this video, I like living in the countryside with large farms, raising cattle and other animals.👍
Excellent presentation Morgan!!
Alfred is a star. As is the lovely Miss Vermont. Great episode Morgan.
Pigs are absolutely amazing!
I enjoyed the last bit at the end.... the piggly wiggly moment of Zen.
My Buddy Alfred IS THE BEST1!!
Miss Vermont is not only pretty but also a good sport 👍
this was wonderfully entertaining,,,pig whisperer indeed...
LOL Loved when you told Alfred, "...and the 50 thousand that will watch this." You are already at 73k! 😂😂🎉
Mo, by adding your wife and now Miss Vermont to recent videos, you’re incorporating much needed diversity to the stories 😍😍.

It’s okay Alfred. Your secret is safe with me…
This was AWESOME!❤❤❤

Your piggies are sweet & very friendly. We will miss them when they get harvested.
And that satisfies my afternoon humour fix. Thanks guys, you rock, hehehe
damm she is beatiful!! you were with great company( Alfred and Isabella)
I loved this so much! Working with animals takes a lot of patience. The pigs definitely like Alfred.
Thank you for supporting healthy 'earth' women beauty! This is just one more reason why you're epic.
I love the song " my buddy Alfred"
this was a whole lot of fun ~ now the pigs will want to hear the my buddy alfred song ~

well the piggies like him

They really did a great job of clearing that section out
This was great!
Happy Monday morgan
Local celebrity - so cool.

Lots of laughs in this one. 🤣🧡
Just thinking - Allison’s always loving on the pigs, bet she would have gotten them out faster than the three of you did 🤣
Definitely need more updates on the pigs new adventures.

I just love the pig videos

Move their water and feeders and anything into where you WANT them to go!!! Otherwise they think you are tricking them!!!
