yes for moving its important to use delta timing otherwise having a bad computer would make you play worse or even make some things impossible usually in programs you use update, so something is happening every frame so it may be faster or slower depending on the frame rate, however delta timing works outside framerate so for example movement is updated at the same time no matter the rates of frames

On my screen I can see how I die to 14+ studs attacks when trying to back up in an attack, but what really happens is that my enemy sees me standing still and he kills me. The worst part of this is that the reason why I am so laggy its because Roblox doesn't (and even thought they announced it, they probably never will add it) have servers in South America (for reference, as I am writing this comment, im living in Colombia), and my internet speed is 100Mbps, so... 💀
This comment doesn't make any sence. I think you're referring to Fps, not ping. But in roblox, for some reason lower fps cause high ping; I've tried it in servers and other games that doesn't use high amounts of received data. so the higher fps you have, the lower the lag will be.

ok, just to inform; from a server side point of view if a player is rendered ata. different speed it is usually due to packet loss, the fps lag does not directly affect the walking speed, unless the device's CPU is low on threads and cannot get the player's input
if you lower your framerate you WILL move slower, but you won't notice all the wobbling; it's just the server trying to estimate where your character would be between the information it gets since it's only getting packets every 1 second in the case of 1 fps.

@@seth8270 i used to play with 700< ping and like 26 fps in low-medium complexity games (complex games crashed my pc or didn't load at all) now medium complex games run on 5-15 fps for some reason also the ping, yeah 700 when it's not having a sudden lag spike (regukar ocurrence), in those lag spikes the ping can reach from 3k to 150k or more (uncommon)

That's because Roblox calculates the physics of your character in your client (or in your device) rather than in the server, the server only recieves the position your character is at in your client and replicates it so other players can see it. The reason why the movement speed is different depending the framerate thought, its probably because Roblox doesn't use DeltaTimes when doing those calculations
