Rain water harvesting system with storage in a cistern- Part 1

  • A simple 'direct use' rainwater harvesting sytem for conservation of water to over-come well water shortage. Water from the house roof is captured using PVC pipes and stored in a small cistern underground for use during times of water shortages. A filter called Rainy installed to filter and store clean water in the storage cistern. This video helps anyone with a small home to do water conservation and harvesting yourself.

      The filter is called 'Rainy' and is from Bangalore. Check with rainyfilters.com for costs etc.
