You are the only one who’s given this guy the amount of credit deserved to be able to defeat akaza for some reason, everyone else is under this narrative that he wouldn’t stand a chance because the compass needle, bullshit, and the fact that he regrow his head, but they don’t understand during that time I don’t think he would’ve had the urge to regrow his head or even the strain it’s two different time periods let’s say he did even still gyomei is just that strong and he has been that strong in both time. I would just argue even stronger because of the demon slayer in the later time. But I don’t know. Maybe he also had it during that time or no because tanjiro didn’t have OK, but whatever, even still the level of strength, the author gave and creating this masterpiece of a hashira it’s just way too much for akaza to handle, I would argue. Yes he would put up an amazing fight and I think this would bring gyomei to his limits, and I would even argue it would bring him to a near death state, but that’s it. I will not go as far as saying, he will kill him because gyomei is just that dope

akaza and koku have fought in the past however only gyomei measures up to koku
i dont even think akaza ca last more than sanemi did against koku if koku was serious
