In this episode of Life At Sea onboard Munkebo Maersk I will be showing you how to heave up the anchor of a giant ship like this triple e .
Anchoring operations onboard a ship are common & require alot of attention to details .
Safety has to be the number one priority during the anchor operations & full PPE must be donned at the ship anchor station .
We had 7 shackles in water when we had to heave up the anchor & proceed to Antwerp Belgium Port . Many merchant Navy ships were also present at the anchorage , waiting for thier port of call .
In the port of Antwerp Belgium , I will be showing you how our port operations are carried out on the mega cargo ship docked alongside for 4 days .
