Very nostalgic footage. Reminded me of childhood visits to The Prince of Wales Pier in Dover. Shocking to think nearly all the vessels seen and even the pier are no more! We see the two Super 4 hovercraft coming and going, one of the smaller MK II SRN4s, the Belgian ferry Prince Laurent at the Admiralty Pier, along with the French train ferry Nord Pas-de-Calais. And of course the Jetfoils toing and froing on the rail connected Ostend service. The Channel Tunnel pretty much put and end to all ferry activity at Dover's Western Docks.
Just discovered this video - 8 years later! Thank you so much, it brings back very happy memories!
