The pic at 2.07 of gourock bay is incredible. My friend’s house has a view from his sitting room looking over the bay just like that. On the wall beside the window he has the scene from ww2 with the clyde packed with ships. Thanks for posting
I remember the WW2 era, with the ' Tail of the Bank, packed with different fleets, I will never forget the sound of the ' Drones ' of the Sea-Planes, I lived in Poplar St, Gibshill during WW2, and had the perfect view of the river.
Ok. I circulated throug popular on way to st munogos. I lived in auchendarroch st. Fotos o foood are stupendous. Various friends liv3£ I Gibbshill. Father. Worked inchgr3en g asorks. I commuted Port- west blachall-gourock. Today gourock is nightmare - kursaal gone - quays demolished etc. I met bullfight executives who led me into major plazas. Fish I never saw on Clyde, nor coffee. My life oddly developed towards Bundesbank.
