Veronica Burton is sensational What a pick up for the Sun. She gives them a solid pg that's a stopper. She came in and stopped Epoupa and once Epoupa went out Burton exploded for 7 points on Williams (drives me nuts)
Coach Reeve said earlier she would put up the Lynx toughness up against anybody. Today she said they got out toughed . Lynx are a soft team. A good team at times but soft.
Coach is way off when it comes to this team being the toughest team in the league
Don't you think all coaches say something similar about the team? You want them to know you believe in them, that they are better than what the media is saying about them. You got to have them believe in you as you believe in them.
And I am sure with Phee going out put a lot of doubt in the players.
I think if the team shot better, and got better stops we should have won but that's the game. Hopefully we jump back next few games.
Kaymac is slipping. She was sloppy with 4 turnovers. That's the Kaymac of old. She wasn't doing that when she was playing lights out. She is just a bit slow on defense despite great effort
