- Custom MKSF/modern MK inspired character - Tremor!
I wanted to make the little fireball volley from MKSF but couldn't figure it out how to translate it to MKD nicely and not make it a generic fireball.
Tremor will be available in the V7 release of UMKD.

I want to say 2 things about this (both good things):
1) It's already impressive that you're adding extra characters that were not originally in the game in the first place. But it this case, it's not only that, but also the fact that Tremor wasn't a character in ANY of the 3D era MK's. You're basically creating a new character. I cannot even begin to imagine how much work that would be coding-whise. The special moves are so legit, the character looks like it has always been part of one of these 3D era games.
2) The best part about this is that you're doing this for the best of the 3D era MK games.
That's just incredible. Tremor always got the short end in MK. Now here's a new chance for him. Great work as always. 👍🏻

He's technically alive in the og mk Timeline ( Him and Kotal) since they weren't in the Battle of Armageddon and jade also survived that Battle.

I’ve recently went back to playing this game and was thinking about all of these characters, stages, and general content that’s only seen in Konquest. It’s stupid how most of it isn’t generally playable, especially because of the existence of Unchained, a mobile version with more playable content. This is awesome!
This is actually so amazing! Incredibly impressive work! Question; do you plan on implementing the styles and/or special moves left behind in Deadly Alliance? Like Kenshi's San Shou, Kano's Aikido, Reptile's Crab, and the Neijin powerups and Reversal? Lastly, do you plan on adding any more Deadly Alliance and possibly Armageddon stages?
style special moves won't be added as that'd change mkd gameplay too much, as for stages they are more complex to do and i don't have music stuff done so dont want to half ass it

Excellent, master ermaccer! I think that Kenshi's fighting style "San Shou" from MKDA would be amazing with Tremor or Reiko. But, I'm very impressed (again) for your work. And these rock arms? Krazy! I love it. ❤
san shou is actually bad, i dont think anything can be done to salvage it outside of animations
What I would like is that in conquest mode, the fighters who in the original game were NPC, Frost, Kung Lao, Nitara, etc., can have these versions. Being able to fight in conquest mode against these characters is simply amazing

outside of me for most of mk games and tehdrewsus and zpaulzfresh for arcade no one really does anything to mod them so you will have to wait a bit for more modern mk mods

Dude you straight up made Tremor in a game 10 years older than MKX, you're a legend. Also I wanted to ask since you're in the Manhunt community too, what's the best way to play Manhunt? It's unvailable on Steam in my country and the version I have downloaded in my old PC doesn't have cutscenes or music. I want to properly play in my new computer so I had to ask the guy that made a Manhunt patch everyone uses.

My suggestion: Add movements for new styles, from the game Kensei The Sacred First. It matches perfectly with the gameplay style of MK Deception! And it even brings new styles!
Wish that somehow custom meshes were a thing for PS2 MK, so that Tremor could've used classic outfit from Armageddon for example and not used Scorpion outfit, but it's still pretty clean custom character - great job.

It’s actually cool they added Tremor to Deception despite the fact he never was in Armageddon. At least not without Kreate A Fighter.
I hope that you can give him his own look instead of just copy and paste Scorpion's secondary costume. And if you can't make a custom model, then I suggest using MK Armageddon's Kreate a Fighter mode, make some custom character and then use the same preset from your custom character for Tremor's model. But yeah, in general your work is great. I love it!

The mod looks great, although it seems strange to me that it uses the alternative scorpion design, I was thinking if by chance it is feasible to use the model of one of the classic ninjas that appear in the konquest mode and modify it better, or if it can be created the character with the armageddon editor and then port it to deception while keeping everything else you've done? Outside of the design, everything is great, great work.

you can only do non skinned meshes and it basically involves old 3ds max with old rw ps2 sdk and a bit of hex editing to make the game load it (as it has custom materials and default rwmaterial extension is empty and will crash the game)

and is there any mortal kombat 3d era modding tutorial available on your channel since there is a lot of videos it's hard to find
i don't have any direct tutorial as most of it is in fact trial and error, all my tools that i use to develop this mod are available on my github

Wow man I didn't expected Tremor to be added in the roster. No 2nd costume unfortunately. Unless you know how to swap body. like garbing scorpion head model and pasted over (or replace) Kai's body (his 2nd costume from Armageddon). Just an Idea, But hey your already making a near 20 year old game lot better then Mortal Kombat 1 2023. Keep up the great work.
