Great video, just came across this. I'm a flight attendant for Alliance. Unfortunately, Virgin only supply tea, coffee and water for us to serve to their customers. Hopefully that will change one day.

Cool video. But that looked like a zero flap take-off! Never flown on F100, but did fly on a Air Nuigini F28 back in '82. Sat down the back too. The only aircraft noisier was the F27 in the cockpit!

If you think the F-70 or F-100 are a loud plane you should try it's smaller sibling the F-28. They are unbelievably noisey both inside and outside. In the late 80's early 90's I use to visit my grandparents in Rockhampton and they lived 15kms away from the airport. Every morning when the Ansett Express F-28 returned to Brisbane you not only heard it after it was airborne but you could also hear it spool up on the runway from that distance away. The plane would be 100Kms away over Gladstone before the sound of the Rolls Royce Spay engines could no longer be heard.

Ah yessss... The F100. Such a joy to fly on. The QF F100 is a lot more spacious though, not sure if you saw my video. The seat pitch there felt like premium economy!

I have booked a flight on Alliance Fokker 70. Apparently you don’t choose your seats till you check in, did you have the same experience?

Unfortunately, Virgin only supply tea, coffee and water for us to serve to their customers. Hopefully that will change one day. Us flight attendants would love to offer more, especially on the longer flights. ☺️
