Hi! What epoxy is that,and how does that holds? Everybody says that within one year of use,cracks appear ,and you have to do it all over again. I have some old 4 metre poles,that are brand new,they have emotional value,and i want to turn them into waggler rods,without spending too much for special resins. Thanks for any advice!

Looks like Size D Pro Wrap Color Fast. The distortion is too much for me though. I would have spent more time burnishing the thread to square up with the blank.

@@andreipetrescu603 first off I'm cheap so, I buy epoxy at Harbor Freight in the dual tube setup. I use it for everything.

Ok, then, concretely, what do you recommend to bind the base of the foot?

Looks like thick sewing thread and some epoxy will do the trick
All that effort at it still came out very uneven.
My problem is my eyelets are soldered/welded on…
Soldered ? Is your blank made of metal ? 🤔
No it's just a cover, your rod is 99% surely made of carbon fiber you should be able to cut it off
