- This video is a discussion about the term "standard enthalpy of reaction" and how to use standard enthalpies of formation to calculate the standard enthalpy of reaction for a chemical reaction.
Thanks for watching! 😀

Can not tell you how much you are really helpful. I am taking CHEM in college and struggle a lot with the concepts in CHEM. Thank you very much!
That was crazy helpful!
+Gabe Miller Music Thanks for your kind words!
I get it finally! Better explanation than my textbook or my teacher. Thank you!
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching 😀
the best explanation i could find on the web, consider becoming a university teacher !
I think I love you, can you please come teach at my uni?
Great video sir, I appreciate how you do not mindlessly run through the formulas but instead show us the intuition and logic behind what we're doing.
Thank you so much! Save me a lot of time for reading!
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching!
This is actually so cool!
and this is the best video i could find
Felt unlucky coz I don't have a teacher like u
Ben shouldn't you divide the enthalpy change value of the combustion of butane by 2?
Thank you so much man. You really helped me a lot!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, that was a very good explanation.
Thank you very much I can say I understand
You're very welcome! Thank you very much for watching 😀
You are the best bro
Thank you for this video!!! It really helped me :)
I love the way you explain.. You make it easy for me to understand chemistry💖💖💖💖.. This is some good work.. Appreciate it a lot
Thank you for your kind words, and thanks for watching! Much appreciated 😀
Great explanation!
But I think the the unit of the enthalpy after being multiplied by coefficient of the species should be Joule and not Joule\ mole.
Also one question, how come when you found the standard Enthalpy for Butane, it was positive but the next step (2A and 2B) the number were both negative
also wondering about this.. I wanna say it has something to do with being on the product/reactant side? Please let us know (:
dude ur awesome
@15:26, shouldn't the DECOMPOSITION of HCl have a positive enthalpy?
No offence, bit your audio is not loud at all. Still love your videos though 😁.
No offense taken. Honest feedback is always welcome. Thank you 😀
God bless your soul! LOL
Darn I just had a test on this ;(
u look like lex Luther of BATVSUP
