Great video! Thanks for telling the story behind the Margaret Lake project. I was one of the volunteer who helped build the fence. I got to meet with lot of awesome people and had lots of fun putting up the fence. With the Lake is now being fenced off I really hope that we can keep this trail open for a long time.
I just love the look of Devils head mountain first thing in the morning. Glad they finally fenced off Margret lake, that was due years ago. Anyways, great video kids. That was great.
the lake was fenced off in pretty much the same way as this new fence about a decade ago but it was done with wood and it didn't hold up long term and people didn't respect the lake or keep their vehicles at a distance from it unfortunately
Hi folks! New subscriber here. Really great video! I know that exact area very well. Have been frequenting that general area for 30+ years and regularly camp along certain stretches of that particular river, usually between Mockingbird and up to 4 Corners just before Brown's Hill throughout the year, and was just up to Margaret about a month and a half ago and there was a crew working up there cutting some drainage ditches along the road and possibly repairing some of the fencing, but the 02 Durango had no problems. I'll definitely keep a lookout for your jeeps and maybe stop in for a coffee and say hi sometime! Really enjoy the channel. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
Watching from the UK. Just came across your channel purely by accident it’s amazing what is on TH-cam. Very informative and interesting to watch I don’t know what you captured on the night camera on the trip with the grandkids but it is certainly spooky. That’s something for the X files. Scenery looks fantastic especially coming into winter shorts day’s even here it gets dark around 4 pm. I shall start looking through some of your previous videos.
Love your videos and adventures around Alberta. Reminds me of our times camping around the waiparous Valley area over 25 yrs ago. We want to come back and visit again someday but stuck on the east coast for now. Looks like you camped along the river close to where you hang a right and head to Margaret Lake? Thanks for the memories!
I love, love, love your videos!!! Love the whole production style you have. I used to have an 04 TJ. Wish I still had. I’m looking at new jeeps!
Thank you👍

It looks like the temperature is just about right to get out camping, I can't wait to get back out there.....Soooonnn. 🥶🤗
Same here, we seem to not be able to get out every time we get mild winter weather 🤷♂️
What's the snow conditions like at your end of the province?

The Waiparous Valley is a special place for sure!
In the city mostly bare patchy snow. As for backcountry, no idea.
We had about 14" but its melting like crazy 🤷♂️
We missed our window for light fluffy snow in the backcountry methinks...
please tell me what cheese at 25:50... looks like something i would like, parma?
Merlot Bellavitano🤷♂️
It was very tasty 👍
Please tell me again what’s the name of the heater you used? And where you got it from? Plus you got a heck of a squeak in the JL
