Also, a more obvious tell is the level "Toxic Passage" which the EPA mandated was cleaned up years ago, and now proudly has no purple water flowing through its caves.
I just checked, this romhack was created at the end of 2018, speedruns were popular a couple of months later... this video is probable from the start of 2019 and he played minecraft at the end of 2019, when it got viral during the original Pewdiepie playthrough.
