  • Soap making video for the Soap Challenge Club February 2021 - Kiss Pour Technique.
Please always follow safety requirements while making soap! Sodium/Potassium hydroxide is caustic and can cause burns on skin or on mucous membranes!
Remember to use a slow moving recipe for this technique and avoid over blending. I think I would avoid using short mouth pitchers if you are not confident with controlling your trace. Using two long neck would be the best bet from my experience.
The colourants I used in this video were:
    Blueish grey - Blue clay
Black - activated charcoal in jojoba oil
    Pink - Pink pastel clay
    White- titanium dioxide
    Essential oil blend: orange, patchouli
After two failed attempts, something like the kiss pour was finally created and its actually quite hard to hold the two pitchers and having the waterfall "kiss". The flow of the soap was beautiful though, definitely would work on this technique in the future.
I am a soap hobbist so I don't buy my materials in large batches. I love shopping at iherb for my oils and essential oils. You may get a 5% discount through my link below:

I think it's beautiful! This technique is definitely more difficult with natural colors, but certainly very versatile and creates such lovely results!
